Santos and Javadi are both having the most emotionally difficult day of their lives, because they’re both realizing they don’t actually have the support system they need, and that makes them question if they actually belong here or have friends or can do this job the way they want to.

the only time we’ve really seen either of them smile is when they were with each other, goofing around, giving each other shit, teasing, being friends without even knowing they’re actually friends. (You know, because Javadi doesn’t think Santos likes her, and Santos thinks everyone hates her.) They have no idea that they’re both casually each other’s safe space. one of santos' open mic routines goes viral on tiktok. it's essentially just a 'i'm the epitome of a loser lesbian exhibit A: i can't flirt/i have no fucking rizz' sort of thing where she basically is like yeah i call her crash but i suck at this whole thing i don't know how i pull people

somebody comments on dr j's 'difficult coworkers video' and is like 'lol this sounds exactly like what that standup girl was describing'

comment obviously blows up

victoria sees this comment and immediately stalks the internet for any videos/clips of trinity performing any standup

turns out a lot of her set is about her embarrassing encounters with people/using the open mic to complain about work (but in a way that like she's not linking it back to PTMC openly and not incriminating anybody)

something something they keep using their platforms (platform is lowkey a stretch for trinity but we will work with it) to flirt with each other

something something they finally get together and santos doings a routine and a heckler is like 'WHAT ABOUT YOUR COWORKER' and trinity is like you mean my GIRLFRIEND... she's here folks.

i understand both mel’s pov and becca’s pov in that conflict. while mel is being infantilizing towards her sister, who is a grown adult, she wasn’t informed about a huge aspect of becca’s life for 6 months. al-hashimi really shined with her empathy with the mother. I know robby is worried about her taking over the er but she was a doctor in a war zone with a seizure disorder. he doesn’t know about the seizure disorder yet but let’s bffr. And the presence of ice in this episode was heavy but also i don’t think the show was harsh enough on their portrayal

The way that robby reacted to samira was insanely unprofessional and projection of his own insecurities.
