Christopher was an all around perfect man: a CEO, very caring, passionate, and open minded to just about anything. He had a beautiful wife with stunning features and a baby that was just around the corner from coming into their lives. Everything was perfect and as planned, they were living the American Dream.
There were just a few things she did not know about her husband and what dirty secret he had, no one knew about it and he wanted to keep it that way. Though theyâve sworn to never keep secrets, the man had been hiding from his wife before theyâve even began to date. The man murdered people. His victims were usually people with a horrible criminal past or simply a person he thought needed to go, he made sure for it not to be people he personally knew or always say around because it would be completely obvious. A presence of extreme satisfaction came over Christopher when  accomplishing something he was not supposed to be doing.
Being in the mindset of just wanting to clean up as fast as possible, before the woman in the house could awake to hearing anything strange behavior, he was out of luck. The very second he had seen his pregnant wife standing in the doorway to the bathroom, he continued to scrub off the blood, âDonât worry about it, itâs okay.â Christopher usually had time to toss his clothes away, but the police were called and he couldnât risk being caught, though maybe that would have been a better predicament than being caught by the person he loved and adored the most, he didnât want her to think anything different of him. He was the man he said he was, minus the killing.
Claudia had considered herself blessed to be able to fall asleep almost immediately after her baby stirred her away with its tiny kicks. She usually never even moved, her eyes remaining closed, and if anything her left arm subconsciously slid over her belly. This particular kick jolted her right out of bed, as if the tiny little being inside her had gained some purpose in her movement.
She slid out of bed, trying to recall whatever soothing remedy sheâd red for night stirs online that afternoon. Her eyes were barely even open when she registered her husband in the bathroom. Claudia was about to reach out and grab his hand- bring it to her stomach and make some joke about how the baby would make an amazing soccer player- when she realized he was cover in blood. âChris!â She didnât even have time to form a sentence and Chris was already assuring her it was fine. âWhatâs going- are you hurt?!â Too many thoughts came to her head at once. How was he covered with so much blood? âWhat happened?â
