Hey, late response, but as a mun who wrote like that: I sincerely apologize. For some reason, I didn't even think about how it was at all insensitive to people who have an accent. I hope that I didn't make you feel self-conscious, and once again, I apologize for my insensitivity.

honestly, it’s okay. I understand that most people don’t know this kind of thing. There’s no reason to apologize. If you want to write with dialect like that, if it makes you feel more in-character, I give you the go-ahead. It’s just a preference of mine. I really appreciate you taking the time to talk to me about it. It takes an honest and chivalric person to say something like this. Thank you.

ooc- whats your opinion on writing with dialects I see you don't but a lot of your friends do

((I assume that what you mean is writing with an accent like replacing the ‘w’s with ‘v’s and such when I write dialogue. Personally, as someone who has an accent of European origin, I find it kind of offensive and mocking of people who don’t speak perfect English such as myself. It makes me feel more self-conscious about my speaking pattern. As for the people I write with, they can do what they want. If it makes them feel more in-character when they write, it’s fine.))

They kinda balanced each other out. Ethel pushed him closer, motioning for him to help Veruca out, he grumbled a bit hearing his mom nag, but ended up complying. he hopped off his porch, walking over to her, taking one of the trunks. he stumbled a bit, not expecting it to be so heavy.❞

She watched the boy attempt to help with her luggage, completely oblivious to his struggle. Veruca expected nothing less for a young gentleman like him to perform such chivalrous handiwork. Her gaze shifted from the yard to the doorway as her belongings were eventually placed inside the house. The ballerina did not wait to be beckoned by the Teavees and swiftly made her way into the foyer before any more welcoming words could be exchanged.

Inside, she turned to see if Mike had followed close behind.

A rare smile appeared on Veruca’s face as she approached her American comrade. It had been months since she had last seen Mike and she was looking forward to spending her holiday in Idaho with the Teavees. As much as she dreaded her less than regal housing accommodations, the Russian expected that her time spent with the family would overshadow this. She walked closer toward the small suburban house with her bodyguard and luggage in tow. Shooing her entourage away, she independently carried the trunks up herself as she was greeted by the boy and his mother.
