hello again brisco county jr nation, god i love this show
The pilot for the sci-fi/timetravel/western/comedy/adventure show the Adventures of Brisco County Jr. premiered on August 27, 1993. Brisco County Jr. (Bruce Cambell) and his horse Comet were hired by lawyer Socrates Poole (Christian Clemenson) to track down John Bly (Billy Drago) and his gang. This was the same gang his father (R Lee Ermey) tried to put away. He was aided by Professor Albert Wickwire (John Astin), Wikewire's daughter Amanda Wickwire (Anne Tremko), and Dixie Cousins (Kelly Rutherford). However, he wasn't the only one trying to get the bounty on Bly, so he found himself in competition with Lord Bowler (Julious Carry). When the show moved to series, Amanda and Jonah Collier (Dan Gerrity) were faded out of the show. ("Pilot" The Adventures of Brisco County Jr, TV Event)
The last episode of Brisco County Jr. aired on May 20, 1994. The series ran for 1 season of 27 episodes. After faking their deaths with the assistance of Professor Albert Wickwire (John Astin), Brisco County Jr. (Bruce Campbell) and Lord Bowler (Julious Carry) sought to clear their names and expose the plans of General Quarry (Michael Fairman). The episode also featured the very Elvis like Sheriff Aaron Viva (Gary Hudson) and a posse played by ex-NFL players (Terry Bradshaw, Ken Norton Jr, Jim Harbaugh, and Victor Rivers). ("High Treason Pt 2" The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., TV Event)
