In 1999, Moebius was invited by the Italian gallery Nuages to illustrate the Paradiso section of Dante’s Divine Comedy. That year, the special edition was divided among three artists: Lorenzo Mattotti illustrated Inferno, Milton Glaser took on Purgatorio, and Moebius contributed his personal vision to Paradiso --Mœbius Production

The result is a bold, modern reinterpretation of the classic poem. Moebius brings his hallucinatory, surreal style with an almost sci-fi aesthetic, where the celestial blends with the ethereal and the fantastic. His illustrations mix light, color, and fluid forms, reimagining Paradise as a vibrant cosmic landscape rather than a traditional heaven. This artistic freedom gives the work a contemporary edge that resonates with modern audiences far beyond classical purism.

i can finally appreciate the codec calls but it's not enough. i need a prolonged, in-depth look into how snake is processing what he's seeing in ssbb, especially in subspace emissary. clearly he and otacon both adapted to the crossover weirdness with their usual flexibility but surely there was a very awkward and frightening period of adjustment
