Hiya, lemme say, this blog is awesome. I saw your Angel/Jack fusion and have to ask, which gem is whose? I could only see the forehead gem.

thanks so much! At the time I drew that I didn’t really have any specific gems in mind, I think I just wanted to draw an Angel/Jack fusion for the heck of it :P

real talk: I'm shit at shooters but I loved tftb and I'm very intrigued by the borderlands universe. should I play the other games?

I really recommend Borderlands 2, I think it’s great! Especially if you have a friend to play it with. Borderlands 2 is kinda like Diablo 3 in a way, you loot stuff and you upgrade things a lot and there’s a bunch of quests and sidequests and there’s a good amount of strategy and decision making that goes with it. I haven’t played the pre-sequel but that one looks pretty awesome, I think it’s basically an extension of 2. I personally wasn’t into the first one as much as others since I wasn’t motivated enough to play it all the way through. If you’re really into the plot and story of Borderlands, I’d recommend 2 and to try out the the pre-sequel because those games have much more story development while the first one is pretty chill on the plot and it’s more gameplay focused. Anyway I hope that helps, good hunting!

2 is definitely the best of the series, hands down. Great characters, great game play, great loot. The Presequal looks promising but just misses the mark compared to 2, you can still enjoy it but if you want to get the most from the series, play 2.
