he is entirely disturbed by his gruesome thoughts. chooses to save the grove rather than side with the goblins (though he has no qualms about using his being a drow to walk unharmed through every place).

brings scratch and the owlbear cub to camp.

allows astarion to feed on him, but just the once.

frees volo from the goblin camp, doesn't allow him to mess with his eye.

LIARA T'SONI CANON DIVERGENCIES

mass effect 1:

there will be none of that "embrace eternity" mind melding bullshit, especially considering she says that's SEX for asari and you don't even find that out unless you romance her. instead, liara is incredibly sensitive to emotions and is able to share memories through plain old skin-to-skin contact such as hand holding. the memories shepard absorbed through the prothean artifact are done so without liara essentially sexually assaulting them.

mass effect 2:

liara DOES gather shepard's body from space to keep it from being used by the collectors, however she does not freely give it to the collectors as you learn, again, only if you've romanced her. she also does not keep all the shepard paraphernalia in her apartment.

she does not act like that with shepard at all, especially if she was not romanced in the first game. she instead acts quite cautious, knowing that their body was stolen and reanimated by cerberus and like every other non-human that knew them before, is nervous about it.

mass effect 3:

ronan lynch, verses.

main: takes place during TRC and TDT.

post canon: TBD pending finishing TDT.

standard fantasy verse: ronan travels around under the mantle of the greywaren, a creature that is able to go into dreams and pull things out of them. unlike his father who wanted to use it as a business opportunity, ronan uses it to benefit himself. like in his main verse, his identity as they greywaren is not known, but the being the greywaren is.

bg3: ronan is a wild magic sorcerer with the same origin. at the time of being picked up by the nautiloid, he was being hunted for his abilities. his personal quest has to do with returning to baldur's gate in time to deal with a mysterious black substance called nightwash that leaks from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, a byproduct of being away from his power source for too long, but to also deal with the people who were hunting him.

dragon age inquisition: ronan is an apostate mage with an incredibly unique power, the ability to conjure things from his dreams. he is similar to cole in the way that he is more spirit than physical being, inhabiting a body but not being quite human. his personal quest involves being able to stabilize his powers and stopping nightwash from forming, which kills him from the inside out.
