And another Concept Doodle for the day for the Intertwined Fates AU! This is Show! Red talking to Roda! Brown about Show! Purple, and Red is hoping Brown would be patient with Purple.
This is just my interpretation of Purple, but… from what I have seen and understand of Purple in the Show, I think Purple is pretty patient usually (though can still be annoyed by something), just that… is prone to anger/lose patient by certain subjects (which is MIRA and Red (during the show until the last episode), and also awful equipments or instructions to work with, especially in a dire time).
I will explain this in more details in the Purple focus short fan comic I’m working on, which is basically my interpretation of Purple’s thoughts during the Show.
In Red’s perspective, they aren’t sure if Purple’s gonna be very patient with Red, worried they might get angry again if Red did something wrong. Sure they’re coworkers now, but the past mistakes Red had done are still there, and Red felt that if they mess up something again or was irresponsible again, Purple will get angry at them again.
So Red is worried that Purple’s anger at certain things might get Purple in trouble, so they went out of their way to explain to Roda! Brown about their relationship and to be patient with Purple so that Purple doesn’t get in trouble if they are angry at something.
Fortunately for Roda! Brown, the worst of Purple’s anger for Red had passed so they don’t have to deal with that mess. At worst, bickering.
And fortunately for Show! Red, since they are both already confirmed crewmates, Brown will be willing to comply with Red’s request should Purple ever lose patient at something. Though they are wondering how it jumped from resentment to coworkers.

Thank you! I will be fine! I was actually pretty nervous to see how people will react to my AU ideas, so I’m happy it was well received! I have other AU ideas, but those are not yet as developed as the Intertwined Fates AU, as the Among Us Show X Rodamrix Among Us ideas is currently what I want to see.
Here’s a little behind the scene of what I’m working on bits: A Short Comic on Purple during the Among Us Show. This is a small project I’m working on alongside developing the Intertwined Fates AU, as I want to explore Show! Purple’s character more in the way I interpret it.
A new Concept Doodle for the Intertwined Fates AU! This time, it’s Glitchy and Show! Purple hanging out together by drawing!
Roda! Yellow trust Show! Purple with taking care of Glitchy in this AU because they had proven themselves to be no of no threat to Glitchy by protecting them from the Shapeshifter. Glitchy also like and trust Show! Purple, and often behave themselves around them, which Purple greatly appreciates since they don’t actually know how to take care of a mini crewmate, they just defaulted to being soft and kind to kids.
I wish Purple could have interacted with Cyan more, and the other crewmates. Guess that’s what we have AU and the power of imagination for.
If it's okay for me to ask, out of curiosity, in your intertwined fates au, do you think that either Red or (show) Purple would end up in the imposter lair with captain Green and Glitchy?
Ha ha. Honestly, I was stuck thinking about it, whether Purple (Show) will ended up in the Imposter Lair or not. But due to Season 2 MIRA HQ plot being still ongoing, I am hesitant to finalize the decision, especially since Purple (Show) here is Purple’s (Roda) cousin. Purple (Show) is presumed dead by their family (this includes Indigo and Deep Slate Blue), since Purple decided to cut all contacts and connection to their family after the reactor incident and Red (Show) signing the NDA, and Purple getting blacklisted.
Due to this, Purple (Show) getting into the Imposter Lair will heavily alter the plot, so honestly, for now, I will focus on Season 1 story and a bit of the beginning of Season 2 (specifically, on the Skeld, but not in MIRA HQ, think of that time in the Skeld as calm before the storm).
As for Red… honestly… I have no idea. Would like to see MIRA HQ’s plot line progress more first, which depends on Rodamrix’s episode releases day. Until then, I cannot progress the plot to MIRA HQ.
More concept doodles for Intertwined Fates AU! But this time, each part is its own part. I will provide a bit of context below.
1. Show! Red and Roda! Brown having a talk about leadership. This interaction is inspired by that one art Rodamrix made about Brown being the best one to teach on how to be a great leader. This will be an important interaction for Show! Red.
2. Show! Purple hiding from the Shapeshifter after managing to grab Glitchy. Purple is absolutely lost, they just woke up in the Medbay, had no clue where they are or where everyone is, goes to see if they can find anyone, go straight and stumbled upon the Shapeshifter fighting Glitchy, causing Purple to act quickly despite not knowing what’s going on.
3. Glitchy seeing nine ghosts of… well, the one who died in the Show. They’re complete strangers to Glitchy, but Glitchy must be wondering why there are nine ghosts in Polus. Also yes, they are here.
And here’s another concept doodle for the Intertwined Fates AU, featuring the ghost Roda! Purple and Pink!
In this AU, Roda! Purple isn’t sure if Show! Purple was Violet, their long lost cousin who was presumed dead by them. The current Show! Purple felt different from who they remember Violet to be, yet something reminded them of Violet.
The reason Roda! Purple isn’t aware of Violet changing their name when they are in middle school (and also in college), is because Violet feels it would be awkward to suddenly tell their cousin that they change their name to Purple. Didn’t tell about their Indigo phase for the same reason.
Roda! Purple would be seriously wondering, once they confirm that Show! Purple is Violet, about what caused Purple to start wearing the irritated expression much like themselves now.
Roda! Lime also got a vibe about something that made the two feel similar to each other, but they couldn’t really put the two and two together as to why.
I like to think that past Show! Purple, before the incident, was cheerful, but shy towards others, so they often like to stay in the corner and isolated themselves at times, but was hopeful about the future. Then the incident happened and Purple developed trust issues and is more closed off than before.
And the resentment towards Red and MIRA keeps building up quietly, thus Show! Purple now wears that tired and irritated expression that is their present self. They only show signs of their past cheerful self to Heracles, but… well… you know what happened.
I know you're still focusing on season 1 but I just had a realization for when the rodamrix crew goes to Mira hq, show red and show purple would definitely warn them that Mira is not trustworthy because of what happened in their ship
Yup. I got the general idea that when they learn that Yellow is going to MIRA HQ to see if they can turn Glitchy back into a crewmate, they decided to accompany Yellow since they’re worried about MIRA doing something bad or tricking Yellow.
Also they both wanted answers so might as well head to the HQ and demand answers from them (and might as well call out on them too, they both expected being demoted, fired, or even worse from them anyway, might as well make life difficult for MIRA as much as they can with what they put them through with Ore +).
They both was gonna have to ended up in the HQ anyway with what happened to their crew and cargo, since MIRA will search for them, unless they don’t really care about the crew’s life and decided that they are dead and they fail the mission. But due to the legendary cliffhanger that occurred in Season 2 Episode 5, I’m stuck on how to proceed the plot in MIRA HQ.
How would the rodamrix crew react after they learned that show red and show purple killed an alien before?
Well, the Polus Crew will learn that first from Red. Not sure about the rest of the Skeld crew yet (Green, Black, Cyan), but Yellow and Lime (and the imposter ghosts, cause I don’t think Red, Blue, and White is at Polus, so they might learn them along with the rest of the crew) will eventually learn that in the aftermath of the Shapeshifter fight.
The Ore + Imposters are basically a new type of Imposters to the others, so they would be shocked with how insane those Imposters are.
I know Roda! Orange’s reaction would be: “I think I’m gonna bring salts with me from now on.”
The rest would be something like; Whoa, that’s insane, how did you survive all that?
Edit: Also something like: YOU MANAGE TO KILL IT!?
Omg imagine the shapeshifter imp turns into red but they instantly got sussed out by purple because they know their best friend way too well
I might actually do that! My plan was for Purple to encounter the Shapeshifter during it fighting Glitchy (the one where it was trying to convince Glitchy to join them in killing everyone), and help Glitchy, and while trying to hide, they might tried to turn into Red to trick Purple, but Purple immediately knows due to the way it spoke, pretend to not realize and throw something at them to escape with Glitchy. The two would hide to recover and then encounter it again at the last fight.
Forgot to mention that Purple would wake up (they’re basically in a short coma until then) around the time the Shapeshifter is trying to convince Glitchy.
Here’s another concept doodle for the Intertwined Fates AU! This is basically how Roda! Yellow meeting Show! Purple would go in this AU.
Purple here is trying to process about the fact that a child killed someone and also almost tried to kill Purple.
Yellow did catch on they are not the Purple they knew, but Glitchy on the other hand at the time…
Also, I’m gonna establish that in this AU, having the same name is actually pretty common, the way others differentiate each other with similar color is by looking at the level of their shade, hue, and also saturation, and since there are a lot of crewmates with similar colors, so they adapted and generally can differentiate those with similar colors.
Show! Purple here though, almost has the same exact color, if not the same, as Roda! Purple, so the others will mistook them for Roda! Purple.
Also doesn’t help the fact that they’re long lost cousins in this AU, and they have similar vibe.
First concept doodle interaction regarding the idea I had for Rodamrix and The Among Us Show crossover.
This interaction first came to me when I was thinking about how Purple (Show) would treat Glitchy/Mini Yellow. In this AU crossover idea, the two became allies without much problem, and I feel like it’s in Purple’s character to not hurt a child, even if they are wielding weapons, and learning that they just wanted to protect their parent (Roda Yellow), and is basically harmless as long as no one harm them or their parent.
Then I remember that Purple kicked two alien parasite babies, but they were dangerous and was gonna infect Purple and Red if left alone, which made me thought of this possible interaction.
For now, I’m still working on the AU crossover story and lore, so I’m just building up the idea through small interaction doodles for now so I can get a better idea as I work on the fanfic/AU. Not sure if I will make a full comic on this, but I still want to work on the idea.
Oh, and to distinguish the various AUs story idea I have in my head, let’s dub this AU: Intertwining Fates. There will be the Alternate version, but… it’s still heavily in brainstorming phase to have a clear interaction, so I’m focusing on the Main timeline for now.
For summary of the idea currently, the story will begin after the Show’s finale, but before Yellow’s (Roda) arrival to Polus. Due to circumstances, Red goes to Polus along with Purple (who in this AU, is pretty badly injured. I mean, they got punch into the cargo and thrown around, the injury has gotta be worse than it seems, not just bruises, maybe some internal wounds).
Oh, and the Skeld (Show) goes boom because it was experiencing system failure (I will blame that on the giant hole that was reopen to get rid of the Ore + Eggs, I’m not a ship expert nor a technician, so, I don’t know) so Red left with Purple via the dropship.
So Red would meet the Polus Crew, who help them and tend to their wounds, with Purple being out of commission for a while, so Red stayed in Polus to wait for Purple’s recovery, and in the meantime interact with the Polus Crew, learn more about Imposters and how there’s various kinds of them, etc. And a few days later, Yellow arrives with Glitchy, thus the crossover begin.
That’s basically the premise of the beginning, the idea is not concrete yet so some part may be subjected to change. Let me know what you think! It would be nice to know. And you can ask me for more details regarding this AU crossover.
My first post! I made the art of the cast in the Among Us Show! I really like them and wanted to draw all of them together.
Though I never played Among Us myself, I have watch a lot of its gameplay contents (I’m not good at social kinda of game, and had no one to play with), and when Among Us Show suddenly drop out of nowhere one day, I decided to watch out of pure curiosity to see how they will adapt the game as a show.
…Now I’m invested in it, learned about Rodamrix’s Among Us animated series, wanted to see all kinds of AUs of the show, and well… I wanted to make fan arts about these two series, throw around some AU ideas, whether it’s a short or long comic, fanfic, oneshots, or even make my own Among Us Au/OC stories since I have so much various ideas lingering in my head.
I was normally not that interested in AU, but due to it being Among Us, I was interested in people coming up with AU ideas regarding the show, or even crossover with Rodamrix Among Us!
Basically, I want to do art regarding Among Us stuffs and throw around AU story ideas. Yes I made an account for this purely. Yes I like Rodamrix’s Among Us, and the Among Us Show. Yes, as long as I’m free, I will be posting more Among Us Series stuffs.
