Okay, it's the last day of the mermay, and I'm posting this thing, but I think I need to explain something.

Yes, this is Amphitrite. But, she's a siren. Ask why? Well... because when I came up with her design, she was an ordinary nymph, and... yes, honestly, I didn't even bother to read anything about her lore, and at that time I only knew about the Greek myths of the EPIC musical itself. So she shared the fate of the nymphs of Persephone: she was the nymph who was cursed by Aphrodite/Demeter, when Persephone disappeared. Then she was turned into a siren, and then.. Yes, she was killed by Odysseus' team with the others.

As you probably already understood, it was an OC, her name was Camilia, and only later, when I found out about Amphitrite's lore, I decided to make her canonical. But my OC was already suitable in appearance, so I decided to leave this siren's lore for her, because I already liked it, and it already fit well into the EPIC.

I broke the myths of Greece a bit, and after many events, Camilia was resurrected and given the name Amphitrite. Why? Because she lived two lives, as a nymph and as a siren, and Hades could not separate either of them, so she was given a new name combining her two lives. This will happen long after the events of EPIC, and it is preceded by many events.. Which I hope I'll tell you about in the future, and I hope you'll enjoy it too. 🙏🙏
