it's fine to create art that has deer skull god (she/her) (queering it) pomegranate sun/moon symbolism in it but you need to ask yourself, why a deer skull and not another animal? what does queering it add to the text's portrayal of religion? why a pomegranate specifically? are the sun and moon the most appropriate celestial bodies to represent the meaning i'm trying to convey to my audience? what am i trying to say here?

Could someone help me identify this bird call? I think it’s a bird, could be another animal. I’ve been hearing it on and off for about an hour. Located in England with fields behind the house. I think it could be a type of owl?

Also been hearing a much quieter cooing sound that flutters? I love birds very much, but just don’t know their calls.

Update: I was woken up at 5am yesterday by three consecutive screeches in the same tone as in the video but different actual sound. Only three then it stopped, so I couldn’t gather evidence. This owl is an omen, for what I do not know yet…

Basically, I’m running a dnd campaign set alongside the events of dragon age inquisition. I’m writing the story and I’ve decided that I want the party to meet Merrill in the mountains once they leave Tantervale.

None of my players have played da2 and therefore won’t know anything about her, and the guest player I’m going to have has played da2 but hasn’t played dnd before. So, I don’t have anyone I can ask for an opinion on this from anyone I know.

Now I turn to you, people of tumblr, to help me out! I’ve been running all mages as somewhat sorcerers to reflect the way magic works in dragon age, so that isn’t really going to work. Im open to any other magical suggestions though :))
