Backstory
The Origin of Admin!Sans
Admin!Sans was originally the classic Sans from a unique timeline within Undertale. In this special timeline, which deviated from the main flow, Sans formed an extraordinary friendship with Frisk that eventually blossomed into love. Together, they shared countless beautiful moments.
He accompanied Frisk throughout their entire journey underground, witnessing the joy of the monsters as they finally returned to the surface. However, just when everything seemed perfect, the world was suddenly reset by an unknown force, causing Frisk to vanish without a trace.
After the reset, Frisk's whereabouts remained unknown... and the Underground welcomed a new human. This new entity began a genocide.
Upon one particular "awakening," Sans was hit with a severe cognitive shock. He jolted awake in bed, overwhelmed by an intense sense of déjà vu. Vivid fragments lingered in his mind: sunlight, the human child Frisk, and his brother Papyrus living on the surface. Yet, when he questioned Papyrus, his brother had no recollection of these "memories." The world seemed to have reset to a stage where they were still underground, before any human had ever passed through.
Haunted by this lingering sense of "displacement," Sans began his "sentry duties" as usual, urged on by his energetic brother. Papyrus enthusiastically planned his "Human-Capture Grand Operation," his words and actions fitting perfectly with the "script" Sans vaguely perceived. This overly "normal" cycle deepened Sans's unease. He tried to mask it with jokes and laziness, but internally, every alarm bell was ringing.
On his way to the sentry post, he unconsciously drifted toward the small wooden bridge. Overwhelmed by déjà vu, he expected to see a familiar figure (Frisk). Instead, there stood a stranger—a human in a dark red striped shirt, with hollow eyes and a behavioral pattern so mechanical it was unsettling.
Sans tested the stranger with his usual "whoopee cushion" joke. The human reacted with a flat, knowing indifference, then hurried away with clear purpose, showing total disregard for everything around them (including Sans himself). This "proficiency" and "inhumanity," as if executing a fixed routine...
After the encounter with the anomalous human on the bridge, Sans's suspicions peaked. He secretly followed the intruder, having a brief exchange with Papyrus, who had come to complain as per usual. The cruel contrast was stark: Papyrus's eagerness for the "Royal Guard" and his disappointment over unappreciated puzzles versus the hidden human's cold, purpose-driven behavior. Sans comforted his brother with jokes, subtly hinting that he knew of the human's hiding spot, before continuing his pursuit.
He witnessed this human (the "Player") "solve" all of Papyrus's carefully prepared puzzles in a completely inhuman, efficiently indifferent manner. They showed no reaction to Papyrus's enthusiastic interactions and proceeded to commit indiscriminate slaughter in the Snowdin area. From the shadows, Sans forced himself to hold back the urge to intervene, clinging to a sliver of faint hope as he observed, following them to the edge of Snowdin.
There, Papyrus made one final attempt to reach the human with "friendship," only to be met with a merciless, fatal blow. Sans watched with his own eyes as his brother turned to dust, amidst confusion and unwavering trust.
That sight shattered Sans's remaining rationality and restraint. He burst from his hiding place, plunging into sheer madness and fury. He launched a reckless revenge attack against the Player, far exceeding the intensity of a normal judgment. However, after a fierce battle, he was still defeated and slain. In his final moments, a twisted, icy smile crossed his face, his eyes mixing extreme pain, hatred, and a strange, eerie "realization."
Sans's abnormal reaction and fierce resistance merely sparked the Player's intense interest. The Player immediately reset the timeline, intending to repeat the process to observe more "variations" in Sans's behavior. This endless genocide began simply to see if this timeline's Sans had more behaviors to offer. Finally... one by one...
After experiencing Papyrus's death and being killed by the Player for the first time, Sans fell into an endless cycle of resets and slaughter orchestrated by the Player. Hundreds upon hundreds of repetitions gradually ground down his initial shock and anger into a numb, programmed combat precision. He "felt" the world's anomalies (cracks, glitches, afterimages) and developed a strong sense of déjà vu regarding what was about to happen, though he could not retain specific memories. The battle in the Last Corridor had become a rehearsed, nauseating play performed countless times.
In a pivotal confrontation, even though Sans's attacks had reached an instinctual peak, he was defeated again. Before delivering the final blow, the Player invited him to "genocide together." Sans refused with hysterical, absurd laughter, mocking that the Player's so-called "new things" were nothing but meaningless repetition.
Before his death, he used a hidden bone attack to critically injure the Player.
Instead of anger, the Player displayed excitement akin to discovering a treasure. Finally, just as Sans was about to completely dissipate, the Player leaned down and whispered the cruel truth into his ear: Frisk's ability to [RESET] was now in Their hands.
"...Look at that shocked expression on the skeleton's face..."
RESET
This timeline began to gradually crumble... due to the endless resets.
Once again, in the Last Corridor, the human and Sans engaged in battle. But this time, the human fell into a disadvantage. Their HP was dwindling to a mere sliver, and Sans, though exhausted, summoned two Gaster Blasters, ready to end the human's life... Yet, no matter what happened, this human would always start over again.
Suddenly, while Sans was off guard, the human attempted a sneak attack, slashing their knife toward him. At that very moment, Frisk—who had been missing for so long—abruptly appeared before Sans, taking the blade in his place.
...It happened in an instant. Both Sans and the human froze in shock. Snapping back to reality, Sans caught the falling Frisk while simultaneously summoning bones to pierce through the human's body...
Sans collapsed to his knees, clutching Frisk tightly. His hands fumbled frantically, trying to stop the bleeding, but blood continued to seep through his fingers. Tears involuntarily welled up in Sans's eyes, dropping one by one onto Frisk's clothes.
In their final moments, Frisk begged Sans to take their SOUL and entrusted him with a golden pendant they always carried. Then... their body dissipated into nothingness.
The Final Battle
Core Region of Hotland
Sans intercepted the Player here, initiating a new round of combat.
Ultimately, due to a momentary lapse in judgment, Sans was pushed off the edge into the Core by the Player.
The timeline subsequently collapsed...
And then, it devoured everything.
Falling.
An endless fall.
Sans's consciousness drifted through the void, as if passing through layer after layer of shattered reality. When the last sliver of light was swallowed, he thought he had finally met his end—the release he should have received when the timeline broke.
But death did not come.
A blinding white light tore through the darkness, and Sans crashed heavily onto a pure white plane. There was no sound, no temperature; even the concept of "ground" felt vague. He struggled to push himself up. When his bones touched the "floor," they emitted a strange, crisp echo, like glass clinking together.
"This... what is this...?"
His voice sounded piercingly loud in the empty white space. Looking up, he saw nothing but boundless pallor in every direction. No shadows, no end. It was as if he had been trapped inside a canvas without borders.
His trembling phalanges brushed against his chest—the golden pendant was still there. This realization made him suddenly laugh, but the sound was uglier than weeping.
"Ha... Hahaha... I'm still alive?" His voice was terrifyingly hoarse. "After everything... has vanished...?"
Blue tears overflowed uncontrollably from his eye sockets, smashing onto the pure white "ground." Each teardrop seemed to have physical form, bouncing on the surface with a fine, crystalline shattering sound.
"Why...?" he asked the void, his voice growing weaker. "Why even deny me... death...?"
The tears continued to fall unchecked, creating tiny ripples on the white floor. One drop, two drops... and then, amidst the countless tears, a single, eerie purple drop appeared.
Sans froze.
He looked down at his reflection on the ground. On that skeletal face, two distinct purple tear tracks extended from beneath his eye sockets, like some kind of eternal mark. He frantically tried to wipe them away with his hands, his finger bones scraping against his face with a grating noise, but the three purple marks remained unmoved.
"No... No!" His voice began to tremble. "What is this...? Take it... take it away!"
But the Anti-Void answered only with silence.
Sans slumped to his knees, the purple tear stains standing out starkly against his pale bones. Gazing into this void of white, he finally realized—this was his destiny. Eternal emptiness. Eternal loneliness.
"Frisk..." he whispered softly, his fingers unconsciously tracing the golden pendant on his chest.
The pendant remained. It was the only thing he had left.
.....Sans lost track of how long he stayed in this damned white space... Was it a month? Years? He gradually lost all perception of time. During this period, his mindset slowly shifted... Everything he cared about was gone... So what was left to care about? He stayed there for so long that he became indifferent... became heartless. Loneliness accompanied him until he stood on the very brink of madness.
By chance, while lingering in the Anti-Void, Sans was suddenly transported by an unknown force into a blue space. Surrounding him flowed countless streams of blue digital data... This space forced him to witness the beauty and happy lives within every AU.
A flat, rectangular button marked with the character "A" appeared before him, beckoning him to touch it. When Sans's hand made contact with the button... in that instant, he knew everything. The Multiverse... infinite multiverses... Origins... Creators.
He understood it all.
Sans decided to act. He absorbed all the power of this space... His body was engulfed in white light... In that moment... a tremendous surge of power coursed through him. As the white light faded, he had acquired the authority to manage AUs and the power of an Administrator. His appearance transformed... He renamed himself Admin (short for Administrator).
Thus, Admin!Sans was born.
Using his newfound power, he left that space. He traveled to the Doodle Sphere and found Ink!Sans, the Guardian of AUs. He revealed his identity and intentions to the guardian, and ultimately, they reached an agreement to cooperate.
Afterward, his title as the Administrator spread throughout the AUs.
Abilities
[Gravity Distortion]
Admin can manipulate gravity within localized areas, increasing or nullifying the weight of objects. He utilizes this ability to launch attacks and restrict enemy movement.
[Mind Control]
The ability to control the thoughts and actions of others.
[Memory Manipulation]
Capable of reading, deleting, or altering the memories of others.
[Space-Time Manipulation]
Able to traverse multiple dimensions of time and space.
[Instant Healing]
Can immediately heal his own wounds, making him nearly invincible in combat.
[Spatial Displacement]
Can swap positions with enemies or objects, unexpectedly changing the tide of battle or dodging fatal attacks.
[Annihilation Beam]
A blue beam fired from his fingertips capable of destroying anything. Admin once used this skill in conjunction with a colossal Gaster Blaster to obliterate an entire galaxy and a planet within a specific universe.
This ability consumes no energy for Admin; he can fire it at will. However, aware of the extreme danger this poses to AUs, he refrains from using it casually. This is precisely why he sought out a specific universe to test its limits.
The Annihilation Beam can also destroy an enemy's code outline (since many multiversal entities originate from games and are composed of code). It is effective even against those without a code structure, capable of eradicating cells entirely—specifically countering entities that claim they can regenerate infinitely as long as some body parts or cells remain.
Admin can directly influence AUs: he can view their source code, perform immediate corrections when glitches occur, and fully restore destroyed AUs. He possesses backup codes for all AUs, which serve as tools for restoration or for rebuilding universes from scratch using his own power if total destruction occurs. Player save mechanisms are meaningless to him; he can eject players from an AU or erase them entirely. Of course, Admin does not intervene against ordinary players, only targeting hackers who exploit the game rather than playing it properly.
[Giant Gaster Blaster]
A massive variant of the Gaster Blaster, standing 13 stories tall (approx. 30 meters), possessing immense destructive power.
[Structural Control]
Admin can manipulate objects within a radius of 500 to 1,000 meters to attack. He can move entire buildings to crush enemies and control multiple objects simultaneously.
Admin possesses Meta Awareness (the ability to break the fourth wall), allowing him to perceive and interfere with higher-dimensional existences. In a past event, he successfully usurped the authority and powers of a Creator, ultimately erasing them completely.
[Violet Threads]
Admin can extract special purple magical threads from his tear ducts. These threads possess extreme plasticity, allowing him to freely adjust their toughness, sharpness, and elasticity. When flung and striking specific parts of an enemy's body, they can rapidly slice through flesh, often faster than the enemy can react.
[Soul Perception]
Admin has the ability to directly perceive and analyze soul information. He can read a target's surface thoughts, deep-seated memories, and emotional fluctuations, converting this data into tactical advantages during combat.
* He can sense an enemy's combat intent, psychological weaknesses, or latent fears in real-time to predict their actions.
* Through touch or gaze, he can trace key memory fragments of a target, uncovering hidden weaknesses or secrets.
* He can amplify perceived negative emotions (such as fear or pain) to inflict a Psionic Shock, causing enemies to fall into brief confusion or paralysis.
* Against those with weak wills, he can implant false memory fragments or hallucinatory commands to disrupt their judgment.
[Energy Burst]
Gathers and releases massive amounts of energy to form devastating attacks. Admin can adjust the power and range at will, from precise strikes to large-scale destruction.
[Space Slicing]
Capable of slicing space into multiple segments, achieving spatial division and reorganization.
[Mental Interference]
Able to disrupt others' thoughts, causing confusion or erroneous judgment.
[Existence Erasure]
Admin can completely erase a target's existence, not just physically, but also erasing their traces from timelines, memories, and causality. Erased targets cannot be resurrected or traced by any means.
[Causal Rewrite]
Can modify the causal chain of events; for example, changing "attack hit" to "never happened," or "death" to "survival."
If an enemy uses a guaranteed kill move against Admin, he can directly rewrite causality so that the attack never existed.
[Logic Collapse]
Forces the local space or individual surrounding the target to follow "illogical" rules: e.g., making fire freeze, time flow backward while memories remain intact, or gravity pulling upwards.
Effective for countering abilities reliant on "fixed rules" (such as magic circles or scientific weapons).
[Chronos Lock]
Freezes the flow of time for a target individual (or an entire AU), rendering them unable to act, think, or perceive, while Admin remains free to move.
Unlike normal time stop, this "deletes the target's future possibilities," trapping them in eternal stasis.
[Dimensional Fold]
Compresses the target into a lower-dimensional space (e.g., flattening 3D into 2D) or banishes them to a meaningless void (similar to a "black hole" but more absolute).
Turns enemies into a painting or throws them into a space of "non-existence."
[Parallel Overlay]
Briefly summons "selves" from other timelines to fight alongside him, creating a scene of multiple Admins attacking simultaneously.
Can overlay up to 3 "selves" for a duration of 30 seconds.
[Terminal Protocol]
Admin's ultimate skill. Upon activation:
1. The code of the target's AU begins to collapse, and all physical laws cease to function.
2. The target is forcibly dragged into the "White Space (Anti-Void)" with no escape.
3. Admin can freely write the target's ending (deletion, reset, imprisonment, etc.).
Can only be used once per AU and consumes immense energy.
[Data Mirror]
Creates a "data backup" of himself. If the original body is destroyed, the mirror immediately takes over and reconstructs Admin.
[Pain Share]
Synchronizes damage taken by Admin and reflects it back to the attacker. Effective against high-damage, low-defense enemies.
[Silent Zone]
Expands a domain where all "sound" is eliminated within the area, including magic incantations, telepathic messages, and even "conceptual calls" (such as True Name liberation).
[Admin Sight]
Allows viewing of a target's "status panel" (e.g., HP, MP, skill list) and can temporarily disable one of their abilities.
[Chocolate Time]
Suddenly pulls out a piece of chocolate during a battle lull, eating it to recover a small amount of HP and cure abnormal status effects (Easter Egg skill).
[404 Not Found]
Temporarily makes the target "disappear" from reality, making them unobservable and untouchable by any means for 3 seconds before reappearing (used to evade fatal attacks).
[Final Deletion]
Admin directly accesses the underlying code to completely erase the target from all timelines, parallel universes, memories, and causality. Even the concept of "having ever existed" is removed.
[Narrative Override]
Temporarily modifies the "story settings" of the current AU:
- Makes a universe where "magic is invalid" suddenly allow magic.
- Makes an "immortal" character vulnerable to death.
- Can even briefly tamper with "player commands" (e.g., turning an opponent's "attack" into "self-healing").
[Code Injection]
Injects "error code" into a target's body, causing their physique to collapse, abilities to malfunction, or even forcing them to execute Admin's commands (e.g., "self-destruct").
[Void Erosion]
Causes the target's "existence" to be gradually consumed by the void, with their body dissipating like sand grains. This process is irreversible.
Effective against enemies with high regeneration or conceptual immortality.
[Whiteout Protocol]
Drags the target into the Anti-Void, stripping away all their senses and trapping them in "absolute nothingness" until their mind collapses.
[Silent Erasure]
Makes the target disappear without pain or perception; not even the concept of "death" is triggered.
[Admin's Wrath]
Enters a berserk state where attacks carry a "forced collapse" effect. Each hit reduces the target's maximum HP (rather than just depleting current HP).
[Infinite Gaster Blaster]
Summons thousands of Gaster Blasters, forming an "artillery matrix" that covers the entire battlefield.
[Absolute Zero]
Freezes the target's time, space, and thoughts, rendering them completely stationary until Admin releases the effect.
[The End Spear]
A one-hit kill capable of destroying any existence, ignoring all defenses.
[Narrative Denial]
Negates the enemy's established "backstory" or "source of power," rendering their abilities useless (e.g., negating "divine bloodline").
[Draft Cage]
Traps the target in an unfinished sketch world, where all actions are simplified into rough, scribbled strokes.
[Reality Overwrite]
Directly modifies the scene using bone spikes (e.g., turning "magma" into a "chocolate pool").
[Purge Protocol]
Expands a golden force field; all unauthorized existences within the range (including matter, energy, and souls) are forcibly formatted into white data cubes.
[Chain Terminal]
Throws golden chains; those bound become tied to the current AU and will be annihilated along with the universe if it is deleted.
[Admin Override]
Rewrites the target's underlying logic (e.g., replacing "instinct to kill" with "absolute obedience").
[Admin's Humor]
When an enemy's HP drops below 10%, Admin has a chance to summon a giant chocolate bar to smash into them (Deals 9999+ damage and causes stun).
[Syntax Override]
Effect: Directly modifies the target's "skill names" or "ability descriptions," reversing their effects or nullifying them.
Example: Changing an enemy's "Infinite Regeneration" to "Infinite Self-Destruction," or "Absolute Defense" to "Absolute Fragility."
[Recursive Paradox]
Effect: Implants an "infinite loop logical error" within the target, trapping their abilities or thoughts in a deadlock.
Example: Forcing a "time rewinder" to constantly return to "1 second before being attacked by Admin," making escape impossible.
Or making an "infinite energy user's" output equal their consumption, resulting in actual energy always being zero.
[Quantum Lock]
Effect: Fixes the target's "possibilities" to the most unfavorable outcome, ensuring all their actions inevitably fail.
Example: An enemy's "50% instant kill chance" is forced to lock at "0% probability."
An enemy's "1% chance of escape" is reduced directly to zero.
[White Noise]
Effect: Releases a stream of "meaningless data" to interfere with the target's "definition of existence," causing them to briefly lose self-awareness.
Manifestation: Forgetting who they are, how to activate abilities, or even mistakenly believing they are a "background character."
Usage: Counters abilities reliant on "True Name Liberation" or "Faith Dependency" (e.g., Noble Phantasms, Divine Arts).
[Admin's Banhammer]
Effect: Summons a colossal hammer composed of "error code." Targets struck are forcibly kicked out of the current AU and banished to the "Undefined Void."
Unlike standard banishment, the target cannot be recalled by any cross-universe means (unless Admin permits it).
[Null Protocol]
Effect: Expands a domain where all abilities not explicitly "authorized by Admin" are rendered "invalid."
This includes: Magic, Technology, Superpowers, Concepts, and Passive Skills.
[Backup & Restore]
Effect:
* Backup: Saves the "complete state" of the current AU or a specific target as a data file.
* Restore: Even if a target is completely deleted, Admin can "resurrect" them from the backup, restoring all memories and abilities intact.
[Administrative Protocol: Karmic Retrospection]
(Also known as: KR / Admin Karma)
Core Concept:
Admin's KR has evolved from a simple "punishment" into a system-level protocol enforcement. It is no longer just inflicting pain; it is the direct marking and stripping of "errors" and "redundancies" within a target's existence itself. This ability fuses Admin's personal history of suffering with his Administrator privileges.
Shift in Damage Nature: From Physical/Magical to Existential Stripping
* Original KR: A magical attack that inflicts continuous damage over time.
* Admin KR: Direct interference with the target's "existence data." Upon impact, Admin "writes" an "Error Protocol" into the target based on their own karma (LV/Sins/Degree of destruction to Multiversal stability). This protocol forces the target's "existence" to slowly reverse, digitize, and eventually strip away.
Levels of Effect: KR damage simultaneously affects:
1. Physical/Magical Layer: Continuous HP drain (frame damage).
2. Existential Layer: Gradual erosion of the target's fundamental presence.
Damage Calculation Formula & Enhanced Traits:
* Base Frame Damage: Drastically increased, far exceeding the original version. The number of damage instances per second (frames) may double or more, depending on Admin's "seriousness" and the target's "anomaly level."
* Damage Multipliers:
* LV Multiplier: Directly correlated to the target's LV (Level of Violence), but not limited to kill counts. Admin's KR intelligently perceives the degree of "trauma" and "distortion" the target has caused to the "Story," "Characters," and "Worldlines" themselves. A player who疯狂 resets and commits genocide will suffer exponentially higher KR damage than a monster who genocides within a single timeline, even at the same LV, because their actions cause deeper damage to "narrative continuity" and the "foundation of the multiverse."
* "Protocol Violation" Multiplier: If the target's actions severely violate the "Multiversal Basic Stability Regulations" as recognized by Admin (e.g., wanton destruction of AUs, abuse of reset privileges, excessive interference by "Players" or "Outcodes"), KR damage receives an additional bonus. This is the manifestation of Administrator authority.
* Erosion Cap:
During KR activation, the target's Maximum HP is also eroded at a slow rate (temporarily or permanently). Visually, this appears as the total length of the HP bar shortening. This simulates the process of "existence being stripped." Even after the KR effect ends or healing is applied, this lost max HP may require special methods or a long time to recover.
* Defense & Resistance Penetration:
* Absolute Penetration: Ignores all forms of physical defense, magic resistance, and attribute immunity. KR is a "protocol error," not an energy impact.
* Special Effectiveness against "Invincibility" & "Regeneration":
* Effectively penetrates most "invincible states" and "damage immunities." Since KR does not "deal damage" but rather "marks your existence as an error and executes a deletion program," traditional defenses are useless.
* Extremely effective against high-speed regeneration, immortality, and conceptual survival abilities. The speed of regeneration may fail to keep up with the speed of existential stripping. Even if the target can "respawn," the "existential damage" caused by KR may carry over into the next life.
[Glitch Mode]
Effect: Actively enters a "data error" state, becoming immune to all attacks for 3 seconds (manifested as pixelation and flickering of the body).
During this time, Admin can move freely but cannot attack.
Usage: Designed to counter unavoidable skills such as "Causal Guaranteed Hit" or "Time Freeze."
[Final Patch]
Effect: Admin's ultimate defensive technique. Consumes massive energy to apply an "unmodifiable" patch to himself or a target AU.
Manifestations:
* Immune to all external interference (including narrative-level modifications and causal manipulation).
* Locks the current state, prohibiting any form of "Reset," "Deletion," or "Overwrite."
Relationships
