santal - a skin blend for TS3

I blended Ephemera’s Fresh skin on top of Buffy's V4 skin to give it some more detail and realism.

This is extremely similar to my Gardenia skin, except the details and shading around the eyes and nose are slightly different. I guess it looks more matte and muted, less glowy overall? It would be redundant to have this one and Gardenia both installed, you'll barely be able to tell the difference.

Buffy's V4 skin was the first default skin I used hardcore when I first started playing TS3 on pc years ago. I really just wanted to make this blend for old times' sake. You can still get the original here if you want a more maxis match look.

baby, child and toddler stages are the same as Gardenia's (credit to Kurasoberina, Noodlesims, and Ephemera)

1K face textures, 2K body textures (adult stages)

dark versions of all textures remade by me

Ephemera Fresh Asian Skin

This is Ephemera’s Fresh Asia skin remade with seven tone ramps, the three natural tones from the base game plus four tones from Kurasoberina’s Primer skin. Also, the child body texture was replaced with smoother, more youthful (ruddier and less sinewy) body from Ephemera’s Fresh skin default, and the color of the elder face texture was adjusted in order to better coordinate with the body and scalp skins and minimize seam lines. It is for all ages and both genders. The texture sizes are 1K except for the adult bodies, which are 2K. The tone ramps have custom thumbnails with teal text (seen below) and a matching teal preview dot, and they should group together in Create-A-Sim. Pictures of the body are here (NSFW). The screenshots are unedited apart from the background, and they were all taken in game. Furthermore, the sims use no sliders and are wearing no makeup, so what you see here should be what you see in your own game. :)

neroli - a skin blend for TS3

Ok no more group pics because I got sick of posing all my sims together.

This skin is a mix of Ephemera's Freckle R skin, Realistic skin, Fresh skin, Buffy's V4 skin (used as the base), and a hint of Noodlesim's Apple Cider Vinegar V2 skin. Yeah, a real concoction, I know.

It favours a more realistic sunkissed look, and has freckle details on the teen, adult and elder faces. Male textures have very subtle freckles on the face and some light hair on the body; female textures have stronger freckles on the face and the standard smooth Ephemera body texture.

It reminds me of a carefree day spent in the sun...

I think Ephemera's realistic skins are gorgeous but I found it hard to make them work for my sim style. So this blend is my way of adapting those realistic details for my own aesthetics. Personally I love how it came out.

Thank you @sim-songs for encouraging me to finish this up and get it ready for general use, because after I finished the adult stages I was ready to leave it hanging in forever-wip-purgatory. And thank you to @tau1tvec @descendantdragfi for testing an early version of this skin blend many months ago - it's finally done now. 🤪
