the most heartbreaking part about the fools video is when matthew knows that if troye comes near him his dad will kill them both. troye goes to the boat and matthew has to push him away and he cant explain whats going on to troye so all he sees is matthews bruises and theyre both crying and troye tells him to calm down but he has to make him leave. he cares so much about troye that he has to force him to leave with no explaination. he has to pretend to love a girl because its all to keep troye safe. but troye doesnt know that. troye thinks he fucked up or matthew doesnt love him but he loves him so much that he had to let him go.
