A healthy fit body is NOT 100% Fat free. In fact a healthy fit body can come in many shapes and sizes and does not require chiseled abs or bulging muscles. Truth be told the shrink wrapped carved from stone bodies you see in ads and magazines are not a sustainable healthy lifestyle at all. They are bodies deprived of nutrients and starved for the sake of show. Don’t for a second believe that those people walk around on an everyday basis looking like that. It’s just not a healthy state to maintain. A body can look very different depending on how it’s carried and presented as illustrated above. The flexed photo compared to the slouched photo looks like two very different time periods but they were taken at the same time only seconds apart. Beware of misleading before and after miracle diets or drugs. These can very easily be faked to look better than they are. The body needs fat to survive and you do not have to maintain visible abs to be considered healthy or not fat. Fat is perfectly healthy so long as it’s maintained at a level that does not negatively impact internal organs and daily function. Healthy looks different on everyone and it can look very different in how it’s presented to a camera in one moment in time. And this is without any fancy photoshop or filters further enhancing the image. People who make a living and get paid to be in top physical shape are not going to want to show anything less than their very best. This makes it’s very easy to get a toxic mindset and slip into unhealthy eating and exercise practices because you are chasing a false body image of what’s healthy. JUST STOP…be smart and listen to your body, feed it quality nutrients in appropriate portions. Keep it active but don’t push it past the breaking point. And most important of all, focus on a healthy mindset. None of this will mean anything at all to you if you don’t understand the reality and truths of what’s best for you!
