Honestly, this was a playful coat and I genuinely would 100/10 would wear this irl.

Following that up with this pop of blue in an otherwise pretty dark and earthy-hued colour palette for this dude. As a seasoned (and by seasoned I do mean I have been watching cdramas since the 90s and am very well-pickled in the wuxia genre) watcher, this look is giving 'Nothern Barbarian Princess' with that fur trim and the delicate collar, and this is very greatly helped by the way this scene is shot so romantically and AAAAAA I wish we had more of this look in the drama.
He looks so pretty. I cannot even.
I know many (*ahem* @xinxiaojie *ahem*) will be surprised that this one doesn't rank higher. This is the look that launched a thousand fics in my mind. I don't need to say why.
