Psych Students = Manipulators
Y/n sees her kinda former professor, Bang Chan, at her therapist’s waiting room. The worst part is, she used to be in love with him.
Cw: implied professor-student relationship, mentioned of a therapist’s office
A/n: I wrote this to get over my crush one of my profs rn Hshshd
A/n (2): this is of course, fictional. I’m not encouraging people to date their professors.
A/n (3): y/n is a psych student and uses she/her pronouns
Y/n happily sighed as she stepped out of the bus. She was now in front of one of her favorite places; her therapist's office building.
Y/n looked at the time, she still had a few minutes to kill. Normally she would walk around the area but today, she wasn't in the mood for that.
Instead, she immediately went to her therapist's waiting room. When she stepped in front of her therapist's office, she regretted not walking around the building.
"Shit! Why is he here?! I thought he was already in abroad!" Y/n thought as she saw her now former professor.
Y/n turned back to walk away but then she remembered an interesting and maybe life saving detail about the man.
"I'm so sorry guys, I'm really bad with names. So you need to say a fun fact about yourself so I can remember you better. In one of my classes, there was this girl who trauma dumped for like ten minutes so now I know her as the trauma girl." Chan said before he let his students introduce themselves.
A light bulb appeared on Y/n's head. "There's no way he would recognize me. He probably has a shit ton of students anyway and he doesn't seem like the type to remember them." Y/n exhaled before she walked and sat on one of the waiting area chairs.
Y/n was looking through twitter and listening to a few songs when she saw a hand waving in front of her face. She promptly took off her earphones and turned off her phone to look at the owner of the hand.
"Hi, I'm so sorry but I just want to ask you something." Chan sheepishly said.
"Sure, ask away." Y/n hoped that she didn't show any hint of recognition.
"Cool. Are you one of my students?" Chan furrowed his brows.
"Are you sure because I could've sworn that I've seen you before." Chan tilted his head.
"If I'm your student, then what's my name and program?" Y/n taunted, crossing her arms over her chest.
"You got me there." Chan clicked his tongue before he dryly laughed.
"Well, since you aren't one of my students, I guess it won't hurt if I asked for your number." Chan half asked and half stated with a smirk.
"I guess that would be fine." Y/n tightly smiled, she hoped that she wasn't blushing. If she was blushing, then she hoped that it wasn't obvious.
Unfortunately for her, it was obvious. But perhaps, it's more of an advantage than an embarrassment.
"She's kinda cute actually." Chan thought when he saw Y/n blush and smile.

"Good afternoon class!" Chan’s voice boomed throughout the classroom. The confused buzzing of the students populated the classroom.
"Sir? I thought you were on leave?" One of Y/n's classmates asked.
"I was but my plans got cancelled unfortunately, anyway today…" Y/n couldn't focus on what Chan was saying but her eyes focused on his face.
Y/n narrowed her eyes and she could've sworn that Chan winked at her direction.
"Did contemporary world seemed off to you?" Y/n asked one of her class acquaintances.
"Well yeah, sir said he was going on a leave but then he suddenly waltzed in. That's weird." Y/n’s acquaintance answered.
"Did you notice anything about his eyes?" Y/n tried to gently guide the conversation to a more beneficial topic, at least a more beneficial topic for her.
"Dude, I think you should sleep more. You might be falling in love with our prof." Her acquaintance stared at her with dead eyes and a monotone voice.
"y—yeah. I guess I should." Y/n nervously laughed. "Was I being that obvious?" She thought before her phone chimed.
Y/n sighed as she put her phone back inside her backpack.
Y/n thought that would be the end of her conversations outside of school hours. But for once in her life, she was glad to be proven wrong.

"Be honest," Y/n challenged.
"I always am when I'm with you darling." Chan smirked which made Y/n roll her eyes.
"Did you really cancel your leave just so you can confirm that I was your student?" Y/n raised an eyebrow.
"I thought the answer was obvious." Chan took a sip of his beer. "Duh." Y/n giggled as Chan's tone was eerily similar to a sorority sister.
"Why are you laughing?" Chan smiled.
"Nothing." Y/n said in the middle of a laugh. "You just make me happy, is all." She said in a relaxed smile.
They didn't move or say anything for a moment. They let the city's stillness and chaotic noise wash over them.
Chan was about to lean into Y/n for a kiss.
"Wait." Y/n backed away which made Chan contort his face in worry.
"What's wrong?" Chan was concerned before he straightened.
"If you really wanted to know that I was your student," Y/n crossed her arms. "Why didn't you just look at canvas or I don't know, the university portal maybe?" She slightly bounced.
Chan stifled a laugh before he cupped Y/n's face. "Because I wanted to see you again." He said before he kissed Y/n.
Y/n's face was redder than any tomato in the world.
