From;john17:18 Inspiration: Just as Jesus was sent into the world, we have been sent to do the same thing again. We have been called to preach the gospel and point all of the lost to the way of Christ. We should never think we are to live for our own selfish desires. Syria and Turkey badly need our prayers. Below are prayer points for you to pray:🙏 1. Pray for God for rescue to those who are still trapped in the rubble. Although thousands have already been confirmed to have passed away and some injured, many are still missing. Pray that a miraculous help would come their way. 2. Pray for emotional healing and provision for the survivors. Although they survived the massive earthquake, the survivors need to heal from the traumas they’ve experienced. More so, if they have lost loved ones who did not survive the ordeal. Pray for the healing of their hearts and for provision to come their way as they recover from the tragedy. 3. Pray for Christians to reach out and help those affected by the earthquake. Pray that believers of Christ will reach out and help the victims in Syria and Turkey out of love. That they will share the love of Christ in this trying times. 4. Pray for God’s peace and wisdom for the government leaders of both countries. TOWARDS MAXIMIZING THE NEW YEAR:

A New year beckons on us. No matter what happened before, the God of all possibilities can make the coming year a gracious one. He is willing to open a new chapter written with splendid stories for you if you allow him. Yours can be victory over sin , consistent holy living, freedom from satanic oppression, healing and good health, preservation from evil and abundant Supply.

THOUGHT FOR THE NEW YEAR.

CONVENANT BLESSINGS FROM OUR FAITHFUL GOD:

Children of God are in pole position to benefit from God's promise blessings if they maintain their CONVENANT relationship with God. Being a CONVENANT keeping God,he doesn't disappoint those who anchor their lives in his never-failing word (Hebrew 6:18-20). This year, the Lord wants us to spend time in his presence and give ourselves to more service in his vineyard.

PROVISIONS IN THE NEW YEAR:

God holds the key to an inexhaustible storehouse where humanities needs are supplied. All who enter relationship with him through christ receive salvation and enjoy a lifetime of divine provision. “ And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work”(2 corinthians 9:8). Everyone can draw from his unlimited source by faith (matthew 21:22;mark 11:24; john 15:7 1 john 3:22)

PRESERVATION THROUGH THE NEW CONVENANT:

The world has been colonized by evil and demonic activities and only those “who are kept by the power of God through faith” escape their assaults (1 Peter 1:5). He promised his CONVENANT children that “.......he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands,lest thou dash thy foot against a stone”(psalm 91:11,12).

POSSIBILITIES IN THE NEW YEAR:

In the new year,all things are possible to those who believe in the God of all possibilities. Depending on our obedience to the new CONVENANT in Christ, our everyday life this year shall be full of possibilities. “jesus said unto him,if thou can't believe,all things are possible to him that believeth”(mark 9:23).

To partake of these marvelous blessings:

*Accept God's gift of eternal life through christ.

*Believe and posses holiness of heart ❤️❤️ and life.

*CONVENANT to serve God throughout the year.

*Develop your faith through a regular in - take of his words.

*Embrace God's revealed will for your life.

From Revelation 7:10 Inspiration: The great multitude from all nations that stood before God's throne, which John saw, cried out to ascribe salvation to God and to the Lamb of God. There has not been, nor ever will be, a human being of any nation or language or people group saved but by the blood of Jesus Christ. He alone, and the Father who sent Him, gain the glory for salvation, along with the Holy Spirit who applies that salvation to men's hearts. Prayer: May we be among that great multitude, Lord, who will cry out eternal praises to you for the great salvation you have wrought. Let us look forward to that day, and yet, not wait till then to begin to praise you. Night prayer: Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. From: hebrew 13:2 Inspiration: We should always be mindful of the people we come across in our lives. Whether they share the same beliefs as us, we should never treat someone badly. As Christians, we should allow the love in our hearts to lead us in treating everyone warmly. In times of the Old Testament, people would entertain guests and some of those guests turned out to be angels. Be kind to everyone you come across – angel or not. It's the best way to express the love of God within us. Prayer: Dear God, I pray that I will be loving and accommodating to every person I come across – regardless of the differences we may share. Lord, may I reflect your love in the way I treat my brothers and sisters in the Lord, and those who may not know you. When I come across strangers, may my heart be welcoming towards them. Night prayer Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Romans 12:18 Inspiration: It is not always possible to live for God and to live at peace with all men. But insofar as it is possible, we should strive to do so. We should never delight in conflict and controversy for its own sake but only engage in such when necessary and to defend the truth and live the truth. Christians should be characterized as "people of peace" who are willing to "get along with" others as long as that does not entail denying their God. Prayer: You, Lord, have reconciled us to yourself, giving us your peace. And we know that in the world we shall have tribulation. But let us not be such as refuse to live in peace with others and create needless conflicts. DEVOTIONAL He hears and answer: by Abosede Victoria God is promising the people of Judah that the Lord will take care of them and not to trust human leaders to protect them. The people don't listen and form alliances that lead to war and devastation and eventual exile. God keeps trying to tell us the same thing. We need to trust in him. We depend on our leaders to keep us safe. How often do we think of praying for them? How often do we pray for our country, our city, our neighborhoods? God listens to us and he answers. Sometimes we don't understand the answer because we are asking for the wrong thing. Do we pray that our leaders do what we want them to do, or do we pray that they listen to God and do his will? Do our actions support our prayers? For example, do we vote for candidates who do our will, or do God's will? Do we support programs that promote justice for all? In our workplace do we treat everyone with dignity? Do we do the same in our neighborhoods? Do we pray for those we consider to be enemies? We may not understand the viewpoints of other people, or cultures, but do we pray that they, too, listen to the voice of God and follow his will for them? Last year, twelve young boys and their young coach were trapped in a cave in Thailand. Every news cast showed people all over the world praying for their rescue. It made no difference what language they prayed in, or what religion they professed, everyone was praying. It took time and the efforts of many people from many countries working together to remove water from the cave, to get food and oxygen to the boys and they were finally rescued. The following day, the pumps broke and the water rushed in and the cave filled. We prayed, God listened, the boys lived. When we pray, he hears and answers. The question is, are we praying? Prayer: Gracious God you are always there for us,,all we need to do is to reach out in faith and trust,pray and know that you're listening. Thank you. 🌞 Morning prayer: Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? Inspiration: There are times we need to humble ourselves before His throne rather than to turn away from him. In the Old Testament, the people struggle with understanding why God has turned away from them. When the Lord explains that they have not obeyed his laws, but he is gracious to return to them when they return to him, the people foolishly ask where they need to return. Their lack of understanding their need for repentance explains why this separation is pronounced. Do not be like them. Repent and return to the Lord and he will return to you. Prayer: Dear God, you are a jealous god. When I seem to be directing my focus away from you and unto other idols, please lead me back to you. Help me to understand my need for forgiveness and a savior. Do not allow me to stray, Father. Forgive me for the times I did not obey your laws and for the times my sins separated me from you. Night prayer: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. from: Hebrew 10:25 Inspiration: While we can have fellowship with God and with other Christians at other places than at church, God has established churches for our edification and growth in godliness. He commands us not to forsake to attend them in favor of merely watching preachers on TV or hearing no preaching of the Word at all. Prayer: Give me, O Lord, a strong desire to fellowship with your people and learn from your Word at a local Church that I can regularly attend. Help me to find the time and resources to attend it. Help me to consistently attend unless there be a valid reason why I'm unable to for a particular day. I love your people, O Lord, and desire a regular "church home. Night prayer: And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day. from: judge 10:15 Inspiration: Here is the repeated cry of Israel again and again in the Book of Judges. They would serve the LORD for a time, depart from him to go after idols, then judgment would fall on them, then they would cry out to the LORD for help, and he would raise up a judge to deliver them. This cycle can mirror our struggles in the Christian life as well, but far better when we simply consistently follow God. Prayer; O ever-present Helper of my soul, if I have sinned, I turn to you to forgive me and deliver me. There is no one else to whom I can turn for help, nor am I able to fight the good fight of faith alone.
