Imagine if Mike couldn’t accept his homosexuality and found a girl who resembles Will.
Oh, wait — that’s literally canon.

Imagine if Mike couldn’t accept his homosexuality and found a girl who resembles Will.
Oh, wait — that’s literally canon.
being a twenty one pilots fan will have you saying insane sentences like “I wish I lived in columbus ohio”
Headcanon: Mike and Will are married. Mike wakes up alone in bed. From the kitchen, the faint sound of music drifts in, along with the sweet smell of food. Getting out of bed, Mike walks lightly to the kitchen and leans against the doorframe, crossing his arms over his chest. Will, not noticing he's being watched, is making breakfast in Mike's t-shirt and boxers, swaying and humming along to the song playing from the radio — Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!"
Mike grins at the sight, walks over, and wraps his arms around Will from behind, resting his head on Will's shoulder. Will just smiles and presses back against Mike a little more.
— God, I'm so glad that one day you made me brave enough to figure out my feelings for you. That was the best thing I've ever done, — Mike says with his eyes closed, nuzzling his nose against Will's neck and breathing in his scent.
Will just giggles and places his hand over Mike's, his fingers finding the cool metal of the ring on Mike's ring finger.
— Yeah. Me too.
What if Mike hadn't explored his feelings? He got married, and named his first son after his best friend — the one he lost touch with years ago. And one day, while walking in the park, Will hears a painfully familiar voice calling his name. Not believing his ears, he turns around and sees Mike with a child — a child named after him.
Just imagine…
So, I watched Stranger Things: Tales from '85, and here’s what I have to say:
As a standalone piece, it’s not bad at all. Overall, I liked how they played around with introducing 'new creatures' in the middle of the main series' plot, but what bothered me was that at the end, they left a hint for a continuation. Like, where else are they going to pull story out of thin air from an already finished storyline?? Especially since most of the fanbase already left after season 5 ended.
I don’t know who this cartoon was aimed at. For actual Stranger Things fans, it’s a bit weak, and the general audience obviously doesn’t care. At first, I thought it was targeting kids, but after watching, I don’t think this story would really hook children (especially outside of the main series). But then again, I haven’t been a kid for a long time, so maybe the new generation likes this kind of thing.
On the plus side: I really liked Lumax (they’re impossible not to love). The art style is pleasant. The music is really good (a huge plus for that). And that’s kind of it, really.
As for the negatives:
Nikki. I was really negative about the addition of a new character (especially one so specific to the series), but in the end, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. But again, they introduced new characters who are always moving away, so their absence from the main plot should have been justified by them moving again. But at the end of the cartoon, they stay in Hawkins, and that’s strange, because they never show up again in the series (if I got something wrong, correct me in the comments).
What happened to the kids who were captured by the monsters? What happened to the coach? Did he die?
What about the older characters? Didn’t anyone notice something weird was going on in town, and that the party keeps disappearing all the time? I get that they wanted to focus on the party, but it’s still a little strange.
And of course, the sore subject (the reason we’re all here) — Byler. There was nothing there. Like, at all.
And okay, I get Mike’s obsession with Eleven. She just came back from the 'dead' (in Mike’s eyes), so obviously he’s scared of losing her again (my sweet, traumatized boy). BUT the way Mike and Will are completely indifferent to each other… Guys, are you kidding me? Apparently, the people who worked on this project tried to soften the disappointment of Byler fans after the series finale and not stir the fire any further, but Will is canonically in love with Mike — like, his whole life — and you’re telling me that shows absolutely nowhere?
Okay, forget the crush for a second, but they’re literally the best friends in the whole party. Mike has always been very attentive to Will and very careful with him (even more than Will has been to Mike), and Mike’s absolute indifference to Will — as if he’s just like everyone else — was killing me. Sure, there were a couple of moments where the writers tried to show that Mike does care, but it wasn’t enough for me. I was missing the little details, you know?
Yes, this cartoon was made by an entirely new team, and The Duffer Brothers are essentially not involved with this project (thank goodness), and you can tell.
Anyway, I could talk about Stranger Things for a long time, especially Byler, but I don’t want to bore whoever’s reading this.
In any case, let’s be honest — even this (pretty mediocre, though not bad) cartoon is better than the Stranger Things finale.
Everyone is talking about how Finn made a reference to byler in the promo for his new album, but no one is talking about how this is literally about foah.
First, we see two guys in blue and yellow clothes (byler).
Then the scene changes, and we realize it’s a film set, and the guys in blue and yellow are actors (foah).
This just blows my mind.
What do you think about foah?
Is Finn hinting at his relationship with Noah, or is he just baiting fans?
dressed himself / got yelled at by Noah
Headcanon: Will Byers would love Blur
Addition: he would have a little crush on Graham
By chance, I heard the song “I Wish You Were a Girl” by 12 Rods — and it’s so Mike Wheeler through and through that I can’t stop crying just thinking about it…
just imagine an AU where Mike is in a band and performs this song right in Will's face as he stands in the concert crowd…💔
How I feel every single second of being in the Byler fandom:
Recently I came across a post saying that Will was the only one in the party wearing a homemade costume because Joyce couldn't afford to buy a new one, and Mike swapped backpacks with him so that at least some part of Will's costume would be original — and now I can't stop thinking about it.
My sweet little boys are so cute🥺🤲💕🎀😫
some things change but not everything has to
Why have we never discussed how similar the names El and Will sound?
(Mike literally came up with a name for her that sounds like the name of his missing friend)
And I think we don’t talk enough about how the first letters of their names literally reverse each other, like “M” and “W”
What about the fact that Will was born on Monday and Mike on Wednesday?
I really feel like I'm going crazy…
byler fans after all theories
I can’t put into words how much drunk Noah makes me blush. That babe is living his best life🙌💕 coquette🎀🥰
Aw hi chandler!!🥰🥰
"It's real dumb. I miss him a lot."
Why is no one talking about this line
HELP ME I AM IN HELL
always "eleven," never "Jane."
«if the main character is a girl, make sure she is married by the end. or dead. either way. »

im sorry she couldn't be a normal teenage girl.
im sorry that she'll never know what it means to be herself.
