Video Rangers

We are four master students at Maastricht University with a secret identity. When nobody is paying attention, we can transform into Video Rangers! Blue Ranger, Green Ranger, Yellow Ranger and Red Ranger took upon a project with the client Video Power at this year’s PREMIUM programme to make the world of video art a better place.

Video Rangers successfully overtook their last challenge and presented the final report to the client. Now we are all ready to face some new challenges!

Video Rangers are so happy to wrap up the Premium project with receiving a Tumblr award for the best teamwork. We would also like to thank the PREMIUM, our client, mentor and coach for everything we learned in the past five months.

In the end, we managed to put all of our findings into words, but on the way of getting there, we learned so much more.

We cried and we laughed and we had fun and we suffered and we did all of it together as Video Rangers!

This weekend our lovely Blue Ranger had her birthday but we weren’t able to celebrate it just jet since we are all chasing the BIG deadline. Happy birthday Anna and thank you again for always making us dream big. A perfect example of this is how you changed our mini marshmallow-stick house into a huge castle. :D

Red Ranger on the left is already eager about the PREMIUM Closing Seminar but Green Ranger on the right keeps reminding her how much has to be done before that.

Today Green and Red Ranger had their last meeting with the coach at UM Sports. A bit late, but better later than never. XD However, after the meeting it was time for some teamwork with good food and last minute adaptations of the final report.

We, Video Rangers, were so happy to find out today that our team was nominated for the best teamwork by the Premium’s jury. Especially since we feel that working on the Video Power project together really improved how each of us works in a team. Within a great cooperation between all of us, we learned that we can achieve more working as a team than on our own, discovered what are our strengths and our weaknesses, as well as what can we offer to the rest of the team to learn from us. In the process, we also became great friends that will keep spending time together having coffee and making crêpes even after the Premium chapter is behind us.

Our team met again at the Centre Céramique. With the project coming to an end we are excited to start putting our findings together. :D

because PREMIUM is about a lot more than just the project, it’s also about the teambuilding and we, Video Rangers, don’t like anything more than to make our teambuilding meetings sweet and of course catch it on a video, at our last team meeting we enjoyed delicious crêpes made by our one and only Green Ranger - Flora
