Every time I see one of those TikTok videos where you play tennis or smth with a cat using the comments I am filled with an euphoria I will never be able to replicate with anything else

People who love you won’t mind wasting time for you, because time spent making you happy isn’t wasted.

My friend hates wearing makeup and has no interest in it whatsoever. Still, she’ll accompany me to stores and tell me which lipstick she thinks is nicer and offer to pay for my stuff because she wants me to be happy. She will sacrifice time and effort and money because she wants me to be happy. That’s love.

Just now, I looked up at my wall and I saw my pink and white dreamcatcher. It's stained with black nail polish because months ago, my room was messy and the dreamcatcher was on the ground and I was painting my nails and I spilled the polish. I look at it and I think how that was such a small thing I forgot about ten minutes later, but there's that crooked dark mark forever and it'll never look the same because my tiny mundane mistake changed its entire appearance and vibe forever. And isn’t that crazy? That something so insignificant could seem so big when you look at it long enough?

The small things

Looking back on @jackalopiel‘s post, I just want to add onto it because same!!! The small things are so nice. Not the big picture, the tiny details you’ll mention once in passing and never again but that really shape who you are. Tell me some mundane, small things about yourself, please!! I’ll start:

I really like KitKat but I rarely ever buy it because something else always catches my eye.

I’ve played flute for a while but I still write down the letters for the notes because I’m bad at playing and reading notes at the same time.

I really like library books and I always have some borrowed but I keep forgetting to return them.

I really like the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino, but my country doesn’t sell them so I drink the Cookies & Cream Frappuccino instead. Your turn!
