I think the original post is talking about the donation bots cause they often tag their posts with big fandoms. I only know this cause when I scrolled through one of their posts it said "this post contains filtered tags: gravity falls" (I have the gravity falls tag blocked cause I'm not in the fandom and it used to take over my fyp) and I don't know what a random cartoon has to do with the rest of the post and it annoys me.
I do already in fact, receive spam asks with disturbing images and I block them every. Single. Time. The same user has been attacking me over and over again using like 5 alts or something and I don't know what to do.
ur carrd says you headcanon freminet as a minor but a headcanon isn't something that goes against canon evidence. freminet is an adult. it's fanon not a headcanon
So I've actually gotten an ask like this before and I wouldn't usually respond, but I will this time because I feel like maybe some people are confused? There's quite a bit of Freminet age discourse I've seen for some reason.
So, like my carrd says, I headcanon Freminet as a minor (around my age or a little older, like 16-17 years old) because I myself am a minor. I just feel more comfortable rp-ing a character who is also underage. It keeps things very comfortably age-appropriate for me. I don't mind if you headcanon him as an adult. It's not my business.
But onto the other thing you said, I'm confused as to how some people are so sure Freminet is an adult to where I've gotten people upset about me "going against canon lore" twice now. There's nothing in-game that states he's of-age. He's only ever referred to as either a "young man" or a "child" both by his own stories and other characters, and he himself also has a line where he says his body is still growing/developing? The other anon (now deleted) mentioned something about him having a job, but you guys do know teenagers can have jobs, right? Even if they couldn't though, that's irrelevant, because we have Diona who is a bartender despite being 10-12 years old, which would be very much illegal irl.
Sorry for the rant and I won't respond to an anon like this again, so don't worry. It probably isn't necessary for me to clear up why I choose to write Fremi as a minor, but idk? I'm confused as to why it's a bigger deal than I thought.
This same anon just came back into my inbox and called me the r-slur over this? I'm not too bothered but I'm so confused? Is Freminet being over 18 such a big deal to some people? I feel like it'd be more appropriate if you, or someone else who is an adult, made a separate RP blog where he is over 18 if my portrayal upsets you for some reason.
