is it better? {open/intro}
The world is so much bigger than Mary expected, and she absolutely loves it. Her wide azure colored eyes scan the area restlessly; fearing that if she looked away, things would disappear. The sun is so much warmer than the museum, and it makes the her blonde hair shine in a way that the building lights never did. She finds herself captivated by its light, and ends up staring at until her eyes begin to water and everything becomes blurry for a few long seconds. She doesn’t care because she can now taste how sweet the outside air actually is and how nice real flower petals feel between her fingers. It’s paradise and she never wants to leave.
The child runs too fast for her legs to keep up, and stumbling over her own two feet is a constant problem. Even though she often falls and gets dirt on her face and grass in her hair, Mary doesn’t mind. In fact, she just giggles and picks herself back up after brushing her dress off. This is so much better than her own world that was incredibly lonely and dark.
She here for a reason, that much she does know. Going to school was very important for young girls like herself, and that’s what Mary wanted to be. Like Pinocchio who wanted to be a real boy, Mary longed to be an actual girl, and not some painting stuck on the wall in some art museum. She had lost count of how many days that were spent looking and growing jealous of everyone that filed past her place on the wall, how lonely and desperate for company she became. That’s probably why she stole away that little girl with the pretty red eyes. But that only left her lonelier than she started out.
She momentarily pauses, and shakes her head to rid herself of those thoughts. Paintings shouldn’t cry, they’d get messed up. She never understood what was wrong; a friend was all she longed for and in the end, the only thing she got was a burning portrait. This was getting stupid, and the blonde started running again, eyes closed tightly because crying wasn’t on her agenda. But alas, fate was cruel to the girl, and she found herself running straight into a tree.
She landed on the ground with a small thud. Azure eyes glistened with unshed tears as she stayed there. Mary didn’t know what hurt most, the pain on the outside, or the pain on the inside.
after reuniting with garry at tancho, the memories of back in the dreaded art museum soon began flooding back to her, invading her mind more frequently. it wasn't as if those memories had been suppressed in her conscience, but she certainly didn't used to think about those times as much as she used to. sometimes, ib wondered if meeting him once again was a bad thing, what with all the horrid images coming back into her mind, but she would deny those thoughts with the fact that she got to see her friend again!
but there was also the problem with her other friend. the other friend who never got to see the daylight with herself and garry. the tragic circumstances left her shaken and forced her to do what she didn't want to, yet she still saw the little girl as a friend. the museum was a lonely, terrifying place and, somehow, ib could understand the way she had acted towards the pair, despite everything. but she wouldn't be able to see her again.
THUD.
her trail of thought was soon interrupted with the sound of an impact onto a solid surface. it definitely sounded as if it inflicted quite some pain onto the unfortunate person. looking around herself, the brunette soon found a young girl with blonde locks, lying on the ground next to a sturdy tree. she didn't appear to be moving. perhaps she had fallen unconscious! ib rushed to the girl's aid, her light steps tapping gently on the ground. as she approached the fallen, the golden of her hair soon brought flashbacks into her mind once again, her head shaking in a bid to ward them away. once she was beside her, ib knelt down, worried scarlet eyes fixating onto her.
" are you okay? -- "
a pause. her eyes widened upon sight of the girl's face, yet she couldn't deny it; it was her. she definitely recognised the facial features, images of a burning painting returning to her. " ... m-mary... ? "

Hiding her now slightly bloodied hand in her sleeve, her smile warmed into a friendly and welcoming one. “Minatsuki… It’s very nice to meet you.”
She raised the carmine rose to her nose and inhaled its scent fondly. “It’s really fine… being around my flowers calms me.” Minatsuki glanced up from her rose to behind Ib. “Follow me, I’ll show you to the gardening shed.” And that’s where she’d teach the kid some manners.
her lips silently mouthed her name, taking in each syllable to ensure that she would remember how to pronounce her name in the future and who it belonged to. it was a pretty name, ib knew for sure. a much more exotic one than ib, that was for certain!
" it's nice to meet you too, minatsuki. and thank you for your help. " she nodded gently in agreement, before promptly following behind her. the female was unusually kind to her, despite the younger having greatly upset her beforehand. perhaps it was just how the whole student body at tancho was: friendly and welcoming.
efflorere ❁ [ garry ]
A soft chuckle escapes his lips as he noticed the flush against her cheeks at his words. How cute. His eyes flickered over towards the twirling rose for a moment — caught by the sudden movement between her fingers. “…Mm.”
Art was a compelling subject, indeed. One that had stuck with him since he was very little. Although he didn’t along too well with his parents — they did leave an imprint on him when it came to the arts. And it was also one of the reasons for his visit to the museum with Guertena’s works that day. Only to find himself trapped in them. Quite a horrendous thought.
He feels a shiver course down his spine at the thought. Better not to think too much of it. “I still like art. I just can’t really go to a museum without company.” He laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his head gingerly.
“But I’m still exploring within the arts, of course. It’s what I grew up with.” Another burst of laughter leaves his lips at her commentary. “Yeah, just a little too old to be a high school student.” He spoke a bit teasingly. “I’m a teacher. The art teacher here, actually. As well as the supervisor for the art club they have on campus.”
He presses his hands upon his hips in a jokingly serious manner. “And I do hope that Ib has applied for an art class herself!”
she noticed the slight shiver and decided that the topic of conversation was one best left alone now. she didn't want to make him uncomfortable of course!! so, instead, ib offered a warm smile and a gentle pat on his back. " don't worry, i'll make sure to accompany you, if you ever feel like going to an art museum again... ! "
" ah, really? " she didn't know whether or not it was all fortunate coincidence or merely good decision making on her part when it came to picking her classes. it seemed that they would be spending quite some time together in tancho! not that she minded at all. in fact, she was secretly delighted. she nodded heartily at garry's little tease, lightly chuckling. " actually, i have... ! and i'm doing art history and attending art club. i guess you'll have to put up with me quite a lot from now on. "
efflorere ❁ [ alyss ]
She wasn’t going to start crying was she? Alyss mentally sighed because that would turn into quite the problem. The white-haired girl had no idea how to deal with crying people; she barely knew how to deal with people in general actually. When faced with her own sister crying, she had just plugged her ears to muffle the offending noise. Crying always annoyed her, well seeing other people cry was the annoyance. Alyss wouldn’t deny that she had her own share of temper tantrums that usually involved her crying. Somewhat tentatively, she reached out her hand and placed it on the brunette’s head. This was supposed to make people feel better right?
“I don’t think they’ll make you plant a whole bush. This is the first time this has happened right? I’m sure if you apologize they’ll let it pass this once. It’s easy to tell that you didn’t mean to do it.”
she wasn't about to start crying, per se, but she could feel a lump forming in her throat that was becoming increasingly difficult to swallow. her gaze remained low, until she felt the touch of a hand land upon the top of her head. it was one of reassurance, she could tell, although ib couldn't help but wonder what an awkward situation she must be putting the poor girl in.
" i suppose. i need to be more careful next time around the flowers... roses are my favourite flowers and i guess i couldn't help myself. "
" thank you for your reassurance but i'd like to still go with planting another bush, as well as apologising in person. i used to be fond of gardening back home so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle... "
efflorere ❁ [ kyo ]
[Kyo was internally conflicted whether helping the girl out or just going somewhere and lay in the floor or on a bench and unconsciously started scratching his head until he finally snapped.]
Ahhhh don’t apologize! Let’s just go!
[He grabbed Ib by the wrist and started walking at a fast pace but making sure he wasn’t going faster than she could walk without tripping and in less than a minute they were at the gardening clubroom and he knocked the door loudly and as soon as the guy in charge at the moment was in sight, he started yelling at him.]
I’M SORRY I ACCIDENTALLY PLUGGED OUT A ROSE FROM YOUR GARDEN SO LET ME PLANT ANOTHER ONE INSTEAD!
[A nervous student just nodded and slowly closed the door back, leaving an agitated Kyo standing next to the little girl as he panted to regain his breath and common sense, finally remembering he was still holding the girl’s wrist and instinctively letting go.]
See? It wasn’t such a big deal.
before she could even think of the words to respond with after kyo's surprising outburst, ib felt an almighty pull as he grabbed her by the wrist and led her to the academy building. she kept up with his pace as best as she could, stumbling a little at times, but managing well. strange, she thought that a person like him wouldn't be prone to eruptions like that.
soon, they arrived to a door, which the male promptly struck the surface with his knuckles. she gulped quietly, hesitant to know how they would react with seeing the rose in her hands. her fingers twirled the stem nervously, until the door opened.
" um -- "
I’M SORRY I ACCIDENTALLY PLUGGED OUT A ROSE FROM YOUR GARDEN SO LET ME PLANT ANOTHER ONE INSTEAD!
oh. well.
ib supposed it was probably an act of kindness, yet she couldn't help but feel a little disappointed with the outcome, turning to the student with furrowed brows after the club door shut. " ... but, why did you apologise? i was the one who picked the flower... " she's holding it right there, kyo, right there.
efflorere ❁ [ oz ]
…? Oz’s attention was caught by something—or rather someone who was near the rose bush of the Academy. His emerald irises hovered by the small figure of perhaps, according to his perception, was a young girl. And when he described young, she was literally young. About ages 9 or 10 perhaps? This girl has a brown hair that flows until her mid back and literally has a very small figure—every child on that age is. Her back was on him and he can’t help himself but look and be curious as to what the young girl was doing. Ah… I wonder what she’s doing… When his gaze hovered to a much rather trivial matter just beside the bush, there were warning signs that said, “DO NOT PICK THE FLOWERS” and yet, the young girl already did pick one.
Chuckling silently, he shuffled on his feet and went straight towards the rose bush, his presence becoming much more known to the young girl. Yet, his emerald irises widened slightly at the sight he’s seeing. This girl was cute! Really, really, reeaaallllyyy cute at that! She was blushing yet her words weren’t that much of a matter to him at the moment. The blond boy felt his heart almost skip a beat as he dramatically turned around for a moment and held his chest to at least heave his fast-beating heart. He felt his own cheeks blush at the sight as his thoughts were starting to run wild. Uwahhh…! N-no one said that majority of the girls in this Academy were this cute! Ahhh… She’s so cute! W…what should I do..?! What…do… Ah! That’s right… Just be cool! Be cool, self! Be cool!
And when he turned around again, he was met with continuous bowing and words of apologies that made his brows slightly shot up and nose scrunching in confusion. “Ah…” He uttered before chuckling as he took several steps forward and picked a rose by himself. Talk about idiotic and mindless actions. “Perhaps, I think it’s alright if you pick roses from this bush~ Especially if the one picking would be as cute as you, miss~!” Then, with a smile as wide as the largest continent in the world, he offered the young girl the flower he picked. “Ahh, if only I would know your name, then that certainly would be the honor I would gladly have!”
And of course, he just can’t not add a wink for a much more dramatic approach.
ib was distraught at what she had done, disobeying an enforced rule on her first day. and the presence of another student made it all the more embarrassing. she kept her line of sight on the ground, not wanting to see the expression of the stranger. were they smirking at her foolishness, perhaps? or maybe they were raising an eyebrow of disgust at her weird behaviour.
hearing a gentle utter, she noticed that the presence of the other had disappeared, causing her to straighten her posture and look around as to where they had gone. the brunette began to get worried; what if they had went to tell her off?! naturally, turning around and seeing that a boy around her age had picked a rose himself from the very same bush she picked her's from was a shock to ib.
especially since her was speaking in such a light-hearted manner. her eyes darted back and forth from the warning sign to the flower in his hand for a few moments, before staying on the male's face. he seemed to be... winking? and attempting to woo her with sweet nothings?! with an offer of a legitimately picked rose?!?
what on earth was happening.
" you... you aren't allowed to do that... " she finally managed to murmur in response, the shade of pink on her cheeks drastically becoming shades deeper. her feet subconsciously took a few steps back away from the flower he offered, as if it were a poisonous substance.
efflorere ❁ [ minatsuki ]
“It’s… really fine.. I swear! After all, it’s just one flower…” Minatsuki sniffled and rubbed back some stray tears, taking the rose and holding it in a hand at her side.
“But if that’s really what you want…” [That’s right bitch you’re not getting off easy.] “I’ll let you plant some, but… Maybe you’ll need my help.” A rather weak and pitiful smile was forced on her lips. “After all… I don’t remember seeing you in Gardening Club. We can plant more flowers together.”
She seemed calmer then, a significant weight obvious off of her shoulders as her smile grew a bit calmer. More like a perfect time to teach the brat a lesson.
Her rose-occupied hand went behind her back and clutched tight at the thorny stem in a furious fist, easily drawing the smallest bit of blood from her palm, just out of Ib’s view. Bloodletting wasn’t something she was shy do to at this point. She’d need it on the kid later anyway.
she found herself notably cheering up, seeing how her attempt to atone for her wrongful flower picking was satisfying for the female. ib was hopeful to not screw anything else up. she smiled softly as the rose was taken away from her, the first one she was happy to let go of.
" ah, that would be really nice... ! but, if you don't want to, that's fine. i've planted rose bushes a lot when i was at home. " she would have preferred to do the planting alone, since it was only herself that was at fault but the offer was tempting. since her fellow schoolmate was a part of the academy's gardening club, perhaps she had tips on gardening. also, it seemed like a good opportunity to make a friend! although, she was very much wrong on that part --
" oh, my name is ib, by the way. what's yours? "
efflorere ❁ [ kyo ]
[Kyo didn’t really know what to tell the girl. If it were up to him, he would most likely just feign he even saw the warning and hightail.]
If you really feel bad about it, why not just plant a new one?
[A simple suggestion that would take a while to do but at least it wouldn’t be completely irresponsible and maybe would give her some peace of mind.]
And wasn’t there a gardening club? I think they might be the ones in charge of these flowers in any case.
[He was just taking a guess since he didn’t know any member of said group and he wouldn’t even bother to go and tell them of something like this but the girl seemed so troubled that he felt like if he left her alone, she’d have some sort of nervous attack or something.]
" i'm... planning on doing that. " she replied, mumbling a few of the words. back home, her garden was decorated with masses of flower, all different colours. if anyone ever wanted a bouquet of whatever shade they wanted, ib was sure to have it in her backyard. planting a simple red rose bush didn't seem too difficult and it was the least she could do.
but first, she supposed an apology and informing the club was necessary. after all, it would be a little unusual to see a random student planting flowers in the club's allotment, wouldn't it? " i see. do you happen to know where the club room is? i'd need to tell them about this... " her fingertips spun the thorned stem, the red petals becoming a blur. " i'm sorry for the trouble. "
efflorere ❁ [ garry ]
“Hmm, there’s no need to put up a brave front with me, Ib!” He chides softly, completely brushing off the fact that, that was exactly what he had done while they had been trapped within that horrendous museum. Still, he brushes it off for the moment to properly greet the young girl he was so fortunate to be reunited with.
“—..It really has been that long, hasn’t it?” His smile holds a wistful nostalgia. It was quite evident, now that he had a closer examination of the brunette’s visage. She really had grown older. “You’ve seem to have grown up well, Ib.”
“I’m—…really glad. To see that you’re becoming a fine woman.” He chuckles at his own comment, finally straightening up from his crouched position. His eyes, however, remained lowered to have a better look at her. “Well, not quite yet. But you’re getting close.”
He taps his chin thoughtfully. “How have I been…? I suppose you could say I’ve been trying to discover more.” He smiles charmingly down at her, tilting his head. “You know. Just learning more about myself. That’s all.”
she gently giggled, in a quiet, whispy manner, and shook her head at him. " i'm not, don't worry, garry... ! " as much as ib appreciated and found his interest to her well-being as a lovely act, she decided that she had grown up from that stage where everyone around her worried about her. it was about time to finally show that she can take care of herself! lifting the injured finger, she licked the small drop of blood that had formed on the tip away and waggled the now clean digit to him. " see? all better. "
a fine woman... no-one had really described her as so before, except maybe her parents and close relatives. an exaggeration, perhaps, but ib couldn't help but blush a little at the compliment, especially since it came from garry. she supposed that their time apart made her growth more noticeable to him. she twirled the rose in her hand, glancing to the side a few times. " thank you... i hope to become one soon maybe, but i still have a long way to go. you're looking very well yourself, though. do you still like art? " the things that went on in the museum were traumatising yet it didn't deter her from continuing to liking the subject. she wondered if that was the case with him too.
a soft nod in acknowledgement. " ah... and has that led you to become a teacher here? i think you're a bit too old to be a student. " unless garry was the janitor. could he even mop a floor?
efflorere ❁ [ garry ]
As her large, round eyes landed upon his figure, he felt his heart skip a beat out of nostalgia. It really was her. She had grown a little, since the last he had seen her. The brunette was a bit taller than before, and her face had slimmed just the slightest — revealing her slow maturity. The last time he saw her was, what—…? A few years ago?
And after that, he had sworn to himself not to associate with her any longer. For her own benefit.
The clear surprise upon her face caused the corner of his lips to twitch upward. It made him a little — oh, who was he kidding — very happy to know that he wasn’t the only one to remember the other.
However, his attention is redirected to the smallest globe of crimson that sat at the tip of one of her fingers. His eyes widen just the slightest as he hurriedly stands before her, crouching down to reach her level as he grasps onto the hand carefully. “You have to be more careful with that!”
His thumb brushes along the tiny wound, a dash of blood smearing along his fingerprint as he inspects it. “Really, now.” His fussing over her prick almost caused him to miss the feminine sound of her voice. Dark eyes averted towards her warm gaze, taking in the words that leave her lips.
— And finally, he reveals a small, genuine smile.
“It has, hasn’t it?” He chuckles softly, pressing a hand to the top of her head. “How long has it been?”
she swore she saw the smallest hint of a smile starting to grow on his lips. and just that lifted ib's spirits up completely. no longer was she worried about the rose or it being her first day in a completely new environment; she had found garry once again! she smiled a smile so large that it reduced her eyes into small creases, something that was quite rare to see.
the smile weakened a little, yet still remained whilst garry fussed over the small drops of red forming on her index finger. it didn't hurt at all nor was she concerned over it but seeing him fret over her was quite endearing. she didn't like to bring it back up but it did remind her of back when they were stuck in the art museum. she chuckled softly at him, before waving her hand. " it's okay... ! doesn't hurt at all. "
ib revelled at the smile on his face, feeling the touch of a hand gently landing upon her head and resisting the urge to embrace the other. perhaps that would have been a little odd, considering they had not seen each other for so long. speaking of timespans, she hoped that the past few years had been well for him, as they were with herself. she pondered on the question for a moment. " ... about four or five years, maybe? it's nice to see you again, how have you been? "
efflorere ❁ [ garry ]
How much more ironic could it be, for a man who seemed to have an unconscious fear of art — to become an art teacher at an academy? And why, exactly, had he chosen such a path for himself?
Although it was only a certain man’s artworks that should send shivers down his spine, the young man now held an instinct fear of museums. As well as paintings, in general. And yet, the day before that had happened, he had been so absentmindedly applying and dashing colors upon a blank canvas.
How long had it been since that fateful day? When his nightmares became reality, and the impossible had happened. As well as his fateful meeting with a quiet, petite brunette.
A little girl who had managed to keep him sane throughout those horrendous trials.
He lets out a quiet sigh at his own thoughts, knowing that thinking of the past wouldn’t truly get him anywhere. It was best to move on. He urged himself to — much like he did after their reunion and returned her precious handkerchief.
A man like him — so disconnected with life — shouldn’t connect with an innocent young girl, whom still had a chance to grow into a much better person than he.
His dark eyes scanned the flower patches scattered along campus, unconsciously wondering if they had a certain elegant crimson.
Only to spot an all-too-familiar head of long, dark locks. Could it be? It couldn’t, right? Was she truly old enough to be attending high school now?
He snapped out of his thoughts at the sound of her apology. Completely ignoring the fact that the girl had disobeyed the quite obvious sign that was placed before the flowers.
“Ib…..?”
that voice.
she could recognise it anywhere.
she let out a soft gasp upon hearing her name, grasping on the rose even tighter, so much that a thorn began to draw blood. but, ib didn't really care.
holding her breath, she hoped that it was who she thought it was. it must have been, she was so sure! slowly, she lifted her head, still remaining in her bow.
and it was who she expected.
the brunette told herself that she would become a more vocal person upon arriving at tancho, yet she failed to find words to say when she saw garry's face. it had been so many years, there was so much to tell! her lips broke apart gently as she stared in surprise at the male until she finally realised that just watching him wasn't a very kind way to greet a person after losing contact for such a long time. letting out another gasp, ib straightened her posture, still clutching onto the rose with all her strength. it was a wonder that it hadn't already been snapped in half. in fact, she had almost forgotten all about the flower and her mishap.
" garry... ? "
" it's been a while. "
efflorere ❁ [ stein ]
“Mn…?”
By now, the good doctor had made himself somewhat comfortable in the new environment. After visiting his office and his appointed housing, Stein had decided to cover the grounds next so he had a good idea as to where everything was.
It was by chance he wound up catching a lovely scent. Roses, was it? How quaint… Not really something that normally peaked his interest but he’d wander about for awhile at least. To his surprise there was another among the rose bushes.. Well it shouldn’t have been a surprise. If anything it seemed that he startled the other.
Hands in his coat pockets, Stein eyed the girl a moment, taking note of the rose in her hand.. And the sign close by. “Hmm…” Her panicked reaction was quite curious… Something as simple as picking a flower shouldn’t be so wrong, should it? Keeping appearance wasn’t really something he was too worried about so he wasn’t bothered by it at all. And so, he chuckled softly. Stein couldn’t just start off his time in the school by ignoring a student’s plea, could he? After all, he always had something like a soft spot for his students..
“It’s alright…”
The man nodded gently, offering an almost gentle smile.
“Your secret’s safe with me.”
But could one really expect him to let her off the hook so easily? The man couldn’t help but want to tease. “Well… I probably shouldn’t say that so easily, hm..? You have broken a rule and I am a member of the faculty…” Pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose, Stein leaned in close… Almost intimidatingly close. Personal space? What’s that? What we now have is a mad man grinning in almost a sadistic manner. Playfully sadistic to fit the short cackle that followed.
“In return, you’ll have to let me experiment on you for awhile.”
“How does that sound, hm? A fitting trade for the crime you’ve committed.”
the soft-sounding reassurance calmed ib from her panicked state slightly, the gentle response almost shocking her. standing up straight, it seemed that the reply came from an older man, dressed in clothing that didn't resemble the academy's uniform in the slightest. perhaps he was a member of the faculty. softly exhaling through her lips, she tried to lift a smile back at the male yet this only ended up with the corner of her lips twitching slightly. it was still too early to put on a cheerful face.
as she was about to release another sigh, she noticed the tone of the male change. it became a little more threatening but ib paid no mind to it. she did a bad deed after all. her eyelids lowered a tad as he spoke of what she had done, awaiting a punishment or a scolding. yet neither came. instead, he leaned in towards her very closely, causing her to jump a little, eyes widening out of their half-closed state.
she craned her neck away from him in an attempt to regain some of the lost personal space. his voice was no longer soft and his facial expression was a stark contrast from before. the proposition she was offered was certainly unlike what ib thought high schools made but she felt as if she was obliged to accept. " ... what do you mean by 'experiment'... ? " she attempted to keep composure, her voice becoming shaky at the final word. it didn't sound good to her.
efflorere ❁ [ alyss ]
School was interesting, Alyss was going to admit that. There was many things for the girl to learn, so she wasn’t bored of it quite yet. But who knew how long that would last with a fickle girl like her.
The white haired child suddenly ceased her walking upon hearing someone else. Alyss had no earthly idea as to why the other girl was apologizing to her of all people. It wasn’t like she was going to get upset about a flower being plucked from the bush, nor was she going to tell a teacher. This place had hundreds of blossoms; lacking only one wasn’t going to hurt anything.
“My, you shouldn’t fret so much. It’s just one flower.” She admitted with a small shrug of her shoulders. Those were the flowers the gardening club had planted right? Even though Alyss was part of said club, she didn’t really care if someone took one. It wasn’t like she planted that bush anyway.
“Besides, it would be very hard to plant just one don’t you think? Roses do grow on bushes after all.” Maybe because the other girl was so worried that she stated something like that. It wasn’t like Alyss cared if she planted another flower or not.
ah, how could she have forgotten that point? after all, roses were the female's favourite flowers yet she had managed to miss that fact. a lump formed in her throat from embarrassment and she couldn't bring herself to look at the voice source. however, not meeting face-to-face with them would have probably worsened her situation, since that was quite a rude gesture! ib slowly ascended from her bow, keeping her head low and giving quick glances at the student.
" y-yes... but i feel bad for picking it. there must be a reason why there is a sign over there telling people not to pick the flowers. "
" i'll plant a whole bush as an apology... i'm sorry. "
efflorere ❁ [ minatsuki ]
Oh, how Minatsuki would’ve loved to tear the little brat’s eyes out. Her expression that was briefly smiling and harmless was threatening to break out into something from anybody’s nightmares. She felt her eye twitch, her hand moving to her earring as she began to approach Ib, just before the smaller girl noticed her. Not like Minatsuki had anything against killing little girls.
[cocksucking brat learn to fucking read i’m going to rip you open until i see bone and use the marrow for my lunch you little piece of SHI-]
But then Ib turned around and began apologizing. She promised to plant another, what bullshit. Kids were doomed to be little assholes no matter what. Minatsuki swallowed down her anger just before Ib came to notice. Tears coming to her eyes from the effort to not immediately tear her limb from limb, just managing a more timid voice.
“I… I suppose it’s fine… Just please, be more careful! These flowers are precious to me..!”
If this kid doesn’t hold true to planting more flowers, Minatsuki would make her taste her own innards.
the sound of a quivering and teary voice made ib's heart sink even more. what a terrible first day it was becoming! slowly rising from her position, she met eye to teary eye with a female student who looked devastated to know that someone had picked one of her gardening flowers. the younger deduced that just an apology wouldn't be sufficient in the situation, especially since she pushed her to the verge of tears. in more ways than one.
she broke eye contact with the other, it was becoming increasingly difficult to look at her without feeling like the utmost worst person in the world. shuffling her feet a tad, the brunette wondered of what to do to perhaps stop the tears. in the end, she opted to pass the scarlet flower she held in her hand. " i'm really sorry. you can take it if you want... and i promise to plant more roses for you. "
efflorere ❁ [ kyo ]
[Walking through the hallways and sideroads of this school was becoming almost a hobby for him to enjoy what little scenery there was here. If he didn’t find a way to escape his fate, only these memories would have to suffice for the rest of his life so he should take in as much as he could.
As he was roaming around, he noticed a young girl plucking out a rose right in front of a warning sign. Kyo wasn’t exactly good with children and he didn’t really like them so he wasn’t going to say anything about it when suddenly she started apologizing to him.]
Ah no, you don’t need to apologize to me…
the student didn't sound particularly interested with her affairs with the roses but despite the reassurance that an apology was certainly not necessary, ib still remained ashamed of what she did. she lifted her head up to look at the male, straightening her posture slowly with a pink shade still lingering on her cheeks. even his nonchalant expression couldn't make her feel better about what she did.
" but... i picked it when i shouldn't have... " her eyes trailed back to the warning sign. looking at it again made her face drop even more. " do you know who i should go to... ? i think i need to apologise properly. " ib lowered her head, peering at the rose in her fingers. damn u, rose.
