book at the ready, momo took a glance towards her group mates - her FRIENDS. a smile instantly lit up her face as she thought of them as ‘friends’, yes, she adored these two so much. when they were first paired up in the beginning, she NEVER would have imagined them to mean as much to her as they do now. needless to say, when they asked her for help in their studies, she excitedly ( a tad bit too excitedly ) agreed for them to spend the night in her room. a sleepover.

“wait! you’re getting the chips all over the pages.” in a frenzy, momo reached over and scooped up the fallen chips back into the bowl. “come on, when the three of us are studying together, there’s nothing we cannot accomplish!” she was uncharacteristically full of HYPED and enjoyment. if it wasn’t already apparent that this was her first sleepover ( what with the excess of snacks prepared ), it was surely OBVIOUS now. her guard was dropped and she reverted to that of a child experiencing their first outing with friends. in a way, it was.

Mei pouted, staring at the book in front of her. Dang, she just wasn’t getting this at all. She excelled in all of her hero classes, why were the normal classes needed as well? She could even deal with most of the normal classes! It was just this stupid math that she hated! She could never seem to understand what was going on. She sighed, her brown eyes scanning the library. She gave up at this point.

hearing an EXHAUSTED sigh, momo couldn’t help but turn towards the source ( the library was quiet and even the smallest sounds stood out ). her eyes landed upon a girl who had an expression of ANNOYANCE. perhaps she were dealing with a difficult problem? leaning over ever-so-slightly to catch a glimpse of the other’s book without seemly too obvious, momo’s face lit up as she understood. math, the BANE of many’s existences.

“if you carry the number here, you should be able to solve the problem a tad bit quicker.” momo whispered towards the other.
