I'd love to live in a Nordic country, and I love all of them equally, but from what I read online, Denmark would be my best chance, since they have the greatest ethnic diversity and is the least expensive to live in. Is this true? Is Norway really as expensive as everyone says?
The issue of ethnic diversity comes more down to which city you’ll live in rather than which country. On average, all Nordic countries share somewhat the same percentage of foreign-born inhabitants, but often times a lot of these people are situated in one or two of the biggest cities of the country. You’ll find much more diversity in Oslo or Stockholm than most places in Denmark.
Norway is the most expensive of all Nordic countries, but they also have the best welfare programmes and they are the best country to live in according to the United Nations, so that could be something to consider.

There’s hardly any difference in cost of living between the last three countries, but the cost of living in Norway and Iceland is about 20% higher than in the rest.
