Hey, do you have any recommendations on how to get energy back? Lately I've been feeling almost dead inside, I don't feel like doing much, I just want to be alone but no one leaves me alone, and if I tell them to go away they just get angry.

Sorry for venting on your blog and asking such a personal question, but honestly checking your Tumblr page always brightens my day

OOC: honestly, I would recommend trying to set aside time in a day to do something you love/are passionate about/is fun for you. maybe you can set aside an hour, maybe only fifteen minutes, but try and make that a priority. doing something that makes you happy can help you realise what you're living for. also, if people aren't leaving you alone, try finding a place to go where they're forced to. for example, I really need my alone time too, and so I will pretend to go to bed hours before I actually do so that i'm left alone. it can be really frustrating when they can't respect that though, and they have no right to be angry. you never need to apologize for venting, truly! it means a lot to me that checking my silly little blog brings you joy! i hope you feel better and I hope that this at least gives you at least a few ideas. i'm not the greatest at giving advice, but I do try!

viktor made his way to the door of jayce's flat, a bouquet of flowers held tight in his hand. he knew it was fine, this was jayce, but he couldn't help the nerves that skipped in his stomach, his brain reminding him of all the senseless reasons this might go wrong. blocking out the thoughts, he inhaled sharply, fixing the buttons of his vest before knocking on the door. "jayce?" - @viktorofhextech

Jayce was getting ready for their evening out, donning a black suit. It might have been a bit too formal, but he didn't care. The biggest challenge he faced was tying the tie, but after a few minutes, he managed. When he heard a knock at the door, he approached and took a deep breath. As soon as he heard his name, his face lit up, and he opened the door with a smile. "Viktor!"

viktor couldn't help but grin, his gaze dragging up and down jayce's frame. "you look handsome," he said, handing him the bouquet of flowers. "I hope you don't mind these. I recall you telling me your favorites were daisies."

He could feel Viktor's gaze on him, but he didn't mind. He continued to smile softly, staring at Viktor intently. "You look very handsome too. The suit suits you," he admitted honestly, taking the bouquet of flowers. Instead of saying anything else, he decided to embrace his partner, pulling him into his arms. "Thank you, Viktor. That's very kind!" He pulled away after a moment, heading toward the apartment. He wanted to put the flowers in a vase. "We'll be able to leave soon."

the compliment caused a light red to dance across his cheeks, his smile deepening. it was easy with jayce. the other boy had always been the one place Viktor felt he could let his guard down. though still, the hug was unexpected. touch was a concept he still struggled with, but for jayce, he wanted to learn how to enjoy it. he leaned in, wrapping his own arms around jayce in return. "do you need help with anything?" he asked as Jayce wandered to look for a vase. "please tell me you'll bring a coat. it's freezing out there."

Jayce noticed the blush on Viktor's cheeks but chose not to comment on it. He preferred to keep the moment just for himself. He had a tendency to be a bit selfish at times, and this was one of those moments. He held his partner in the embrace for a little longer, not letting go. After a while, though, he reluctantly released him and headed toward the door.

“No, I'll be ready in a moment,” he said as he placed the flowers in a vase, admiring them with a smile. He’d never received flowers before. He sighed heavily at Viktor’s words.

“I know you won't let me go without a coat, so…” He put on his long black coat, shut the door, and turned to Viktor. “Shall we go? The restaurant is not far. I chose Italian cuisine. I hope you’ll like it.”

he watched, endeared by jayce as he hurried to get the flowers set up and grab his coat. once he was ready, Viktor pulled his own coat tighter around his frame, adjusting his scarf so it covered his mouth. "of course i'm not going to let you go without a coat," he jabbed jayce's arm. "you are a big baby when you're sick. don't make me remind you of last time."

Jayce stepped out into the cold with Viktor, pulling his coat tightly around him for warmth. It was indeed chilly, the air biting at his skin. He walked calmly alongside his friend, his eyes drifting toward the sky with interest.

"I know," he said with a smile, turning his gaze toward Viktor. "You're very meticulous and caring." He chuckled, his amusement evident. "We'd better not mention that. Don't want people thinking poorly of me." He laughed softly, and after a pleasant stroll, they arrived at the restaurant. Jayce opened the door and held it for Viktor to enter. "After you."

"you know, if you keep offering all these compliments, i'm going to end up going red again." he grinned, watching their feet skim across the cobblestones. "and don't worry... I have no intention to spill your secrets." once they arrived at the restaurant, he hurried inside, side by side with jayce as they were ushered to their table, menus set out in front of them. once they were left alone, Viktor unbuttoned his coat, revealing a deep red blouse accentuated with a white vest on top. he fixed a few loose strands of his hair, his attention stolen by jayce. "this is a nice place. how did you hear about it?"

"You say? Sounds like a promise. I'll remember that." He chuckled softly, glancing around the surroundings. "I know, after all, we're the best of friends. You'll never betray my secrets." He confessed quietly and walked inside the restaurant, quickly finding a spot in the center of the room. He took off his coat, revealing a white hoodie and a black blazer. In the pocket of his blazer was one of the flowers Viktor had given him. He sat down at the table and smiled. "As a councilman, I meet important people in fancy places. I passed by this one, but we never ate here because it seemed too modest. However, for me, it's beautiful here. I wanted to show you this place." He noticed the potted flowers around and smiled lightly.

"thank you for bringing me here. it's lovely, Jayce." they talked for a little while until the waitress came up to grab their order, disappearing back into the kitchen once they were done. "my mother would have loved this place," Viktor mused, a hint of melancholy to his tone. "she loved food, even though she wasn't the greatest at making it."
