Okay so basically when there’s a court trial taking place, they need a bunch of people on the side—a jury—to look at the evidence and different angles of the story.

Essentially you get to be part of a vote of whether or not the accused is guilty, from your own discernment based on the evidence provided.

Although it’s a huge pain in the ass, because a trial can take, like, a day to weeks to finish and you never know what kind of trial you’re getting into before showing up. And if you refuse to show up you go to jail.

I wouldn't know. It was already grown by the time me and my people found it. we just help it along where we can, but it must've taken decades. maybe we'll get a branch off and count the rings one of these days
