First you establish a routine of exercise, with a rotating focus on which muscle groups you want to emphasize.

Then you shape up your diet to compliment that exercise. Sometimes this means eating more calories than before, but it usually always means pursuing good sugars like apples over bad sugars like soda. And lots of proteins.

If you're able to keep that up for a month, do a week of ketosis.

Then, just start over from step 1 again. Do this cycle forever. It builds and tones muscle, and then 'cuts' down on body fat. But the most important thing is to mix it up with the excercises and have fun with it. Never push yourself too hard for too long. It doesn't have to be every day. You can have rest days. Remember: if you do not choose when you rest, your body will choose when you rest whether you prefer it right then or not.

The commitment to and repetition of those patterns of exercise are the second most important thing. Teaching your body to work in a different way is like teaching yourself to play a musical instrument. Practice, practice, practice.

The pitfalls are numerous, but never, never ever forget-- I cannot stress this enough-- to take it sleazy.
