Oil painting study in my sketchbook. . I did this on Saturday and had to start a new sketchbook, because this is still wet, thus I can’t close it and carry it around. . I’ll have to get a separate sketchbook for this kind of stuff, because I do want to continue doing it. . Before I thought that I struggle with blending because of the canvas texture. This is true, to an extend. Tried using acrylics after a long time. And I mean LONG time. Enough to make all of my blues dry out 🙄 . Is this a disaster or something of value? I let you to be the judge. . Anyway, my respect for people using acrylics doubled up after this experience. Like, how can you not get angry? How can you do something that isn’t on the abstract side of the scale? How do you deal with the insane drying time? . There are few good points too. At least I wasn’t so precious about wasting my expensive paint and wasn’t afraid to use a lot of it. . Will I do this again? Yes of course. Swing, day 9 of #inktober2019 I actually have a character of this race in my story, but I don’t think he is a very typical example of them. These cats come from island of Kaehal in Fang Sea. This island is a southern part of Teawarth and it has fairly mild climate. The Cats wear clothes only for special occasions, which their acrobatics dances are. They are known all over the Kingdom because of their dances and are often invited to courts. Frail, day 8 of #inktober2019 I desperately need to catch up with posting 😅 This is a simple one. I had no idea how to call it, so I went with the most uncreative of them all. I have no idea what to say about these. They are normal butterflies, just made of glass. Once broken, forever broken. They come in all colours and, as morbid as it sounds, their dead bodies are used for decoration or as a secondary source of glass. Enchanted, day 7 of #inktober2019 Yeh I’m really behind. I was sick and then had A LOT of stuff to do Kerdalotas used to be normal deers. But then a mage alchemist blew up his cottage and some nasty stuff got into the river. And these poor guys happened to drink from it. Their antlers are poisonous to touch. Build, day 5 of #inktober2019 I had hard time choosing, but then I realised... wait! Magic! Cos that’s what everything is built on! Mages are hard to draw cos, it’s more of a title than a race. Almost all intelligent races can use magic to some degree. And they don’t use it the same way. See the difficulty here? So that’s why I’m not going to do the stats for this one. They would be so broad it would be pointless. Let’s take the danger as an example.
