Is it bad that I think Jinx should have died in the process of bombing the city council at the end of season 1? Don't get me wrong, a character suffering from severe mental illness being redeemed is good representation in media but I feel like her death being early and treated as a cautionary tale or self-destructive tragedy would have worked as both a strong narrative and an incredibly interesting turn for the storylines of Vi, Caitlyn and Ekko. Vi’s survivor's guilt becoming stronger, Caitlyn's desire for revenge becoming impossible, and Ekko's grief becoming reinvigorated.
Ooh this is very interesting!! I like this take! :)
HERE ME OUT! Jett crushing on a reader who works at the Whisker’s diner who also used to go to school with her (which explains how they they even got Jett’s high school jersey lol maybe high school sweethearts)
I know you’re closed I just wanted to share the idea but also lowkey will draw you anything you want if you’d write it 🤩🤩🤩
a/n: OMG, Dude I've been waiting for someone to draw my writing. I WOULD LITERALLY DIE IF YOU DO, TAKE MY HEARTT IF YOU WILL.
Jett Fillmore, the ferocious and non-stoppable roarball player having a crush on her highschool sweetheart that works at the whiskers diner where Will loves to go to.
Jett didn't think much of it at first but boy that girl gets so awkward when she is around you. When Will led her to the diner to show how loved she was in Vineland, she realized her own highschool jersey she wore back in highschool.
She wondered how they got that in the first place until a voice called out. "Oh that would be me." A familiar voice called out behind the counter.
Jett immediately went to an awkward, giggly girly mode as soon as she saw you. Her tail flicking, her pupils widening in large boba like to show how in love she was.
When you two were in highschool, she was the cool and popular student while you were a quiet and shy student. A good trope yeah? Popular x shy trope.
"Never thought I would see you again Jett. Looking taller than last time I saw you." You smiled towards her.
"N-Name? Hi... You work here?" She points out. "Duh. Ain't I wearing the uniform." You giggled. "How have you been? I've been seeing you on TV a lot lately."
Jett inhaled, trying to place an elbow on the table and look cool to only trip but quickly getting back up as she nervously laughed. "I've been doing fine." She was a bit stiff.
"Loosen up ya dork." You teased.
Ever since Jett noticed that you worked at the diner, she would visit every single time after her games, either a bad one or a good one. This girl would always come to see you.
It has been ages since she saw you back in highschool before playing for the Thorns. She has never got the real chance to get your socials back then.
The girl was too nervous to even talk to you and thought she was going to mess things up.
Dorky Jock vibes. You feel me.
sub vi fics got me like this

I WAS LAUGHING THE ENTIRE TIME I READ IT LMAOOO
DICKRIDERRRRRRRRRR
finding a blog like yours always makes me so happy you people are so fun! did you cry when you watched arcane s2? i bet you were looking so so forward to it just counting the days and then it made you feel so bad :((( did you see how much vi loves cait? how she chose cait? two years later how bad do you feel that nearly everything about vi is and will always about her relationship with cait and you can't enjoy! the only thing you can do is bitch and bitch about it with the rest of your sad sad little haters! this is so perfect look at vi and cait being in love being the most popular wlw ship ever! i can imagine how sad your life is and the way you can't even enjoy the thousands and thousands of fic and art of your girlfriend vi bc beautiful cait is going be there being desperate loved by vi is delicious. if vi comes back in a sequel or something guess what cait going to be there and who knows maybe vi is going to be cop too and all you can do is keep fuming about it. that's truly one of the best part of this fandom! it's just so rewarding and you can only cry and cry and die mad about it :))))))
Aw how cute of you to take the time out of your day to write this all out like it's gonna change my mind :)))))))
Bold of you to assume that I don't live a happy life<3 You want a cookie for licking that boot, sweetheart?
Dw, I'm not that worried cuz I reality shifted and got to have Vi to myself😂✌🏾✌🏾 Thanks anyway honey, hope you get out of that ward soon!!
Or stay in there, idrc.
I think Caitlyn as a character should have been written as more empathetic in Season 2 and she should have had a unique dynamic with Ekko given they're both leaders of groups that serve and protect their communities. Caitlyn losing her mother and instead clinging to her humanity by trying to help the people of Zaun rather than seeking revenge on Jinx would have been a better use of her screentime than being manipulated by a dictator from another country
I agree! I feel like the complete 180 from the setup from her character in s1 was a complete bullshit move and she should've been a detective instead, because of her very talented skills.
Plus it goes against her entire character arc with Vi and Zaun that they also set up in s1 and suddenly she's calling them animals and gassing them despite being proven wrong about her beliefs in the system she was raised in through her journey in Zaun and through her relationship with Vi.
While I do like the concept of caitlyn going down a darker path, unfortunately the writers were too much of pussies to deal with the fact Caitlyn was still a nepo baby who was an oppressor and continued to live off, bathe in those generational riches. Even if she was a manipulative and abusive pos to Vi, they can't handle their lil caitie being admitted to being a horrible person and character💁🏾♀️
Caitlyn losing her mother, if anything, should be her being able to relate to the zaunites who've lost MORE than just their mothers, she could've been able to find some type of equal footing with Vi or Jinx and try to somewhat grief yet acknowledge her mother was a pos regardless if they were voting for peace or not. (And they were too late to begin with as well)
Plus I also would've liked if they used her being behind generational wealth and her mother's power in a more detective way also. Like those old files she was looking at of the grey, if there were any redacted files of Zaun mistreatment and Piltover's broken promises and to shove it into the council's faces, excluding herself from Piltover by this alone.
Oh s2, what you could've been💔
it’s ochako chan !!!!!! ☆〜(ゝ。∂)

Hey so FYI, black fans shouldn’t have to hide/shy away from their fandoms. They shouldn’t have to feel ashamed to be black in fandom spaces. They shouldn’t have racist remarks / people downplaying racism thrown at them everywhere they go in a fandom. There should be more hype for black-ran indie shows and creations.
If you disagree, then maybe you should look into yourself and fix that.
I don’t think we talk about how actually horrifying Warwick’s existence is. What do you mean someone transformed a human man into a fucked up dog creature in seven years.
Love you Bob
It's been nearly two years since arcane s2 aired and I still keep seeing ppl say that prison scene was reclaiming Vi's trauma today in 2026✌🏾
Yall are Amanda Overton's birds
“vi became an enforcer bc it’s in her LOL lore !1!1! it had to happen 1!!1!1”
oh, just like how jinx somehow magically gained sanity, cut her hair and then faked her death in LOL lore? or how caitlyn lost her eye in the “big battle” in LOL lore? or how—
oh… wait.
i do not need secondary world stories to adhere to my own politics about cops and law enforcement, but i do need it to cohere to its own political thesis of what role an armed force plays as a tool of the state.
discworld is obviously very pro-policing-as-an-institution, but it starts out as establishing the entire city watch as corrupt, inept, uncaring, out of touch, and unsympathetic to the civilians it's supposed to protect, and over the course of several books and several decades painstakingly sells us on the idea of reform and accountability, all lead by One Good Man who's able to do so. it's pure fantasy, and not just because it's discworld. the structure of reality within discworld itself makes it a believable arc, because the reality of discworld is dependent on the shapes of stories and that's a folk myth that's believable. if it you can read the books and meet it on it's terms, if you can buy the idea of a benevolent dictator, you can buy the idea of police reform that actually works.
andor is on the opposite scale, where law enforcement are shown as human and relatively realistic; not uniquely evil for the sake of evil, but it's also very explicit that there are No Good Cops. no good enforcers, no good soldiers, no good intelligence officers, no good mall cops or prison wardens or prosecuting judges under fascism and empire; enforcing unjust law and withholding due process makes you complicit. the only ones who are sympathetic are the defectors and the moles within the ranks of power. everyone else is either apathetic face of the banality of evil, or ends up swallowed by the fascist death machine they maintain. and andor showed no exceptions.
arcane's biggest inconsistency is it doesn't know what it wants to do. we open the series with the scene of a brutal state massacre. two kids are left orphans because cops killed their parents during a failed uprising against the ruling class. they come from a poor and disenfranchised neighbourhood, vi ends up wrongfully imprisoned at fifteen, and into the foreseeable future.
and then she's rescued from the jail and...falls for a cop? said cop later goes full dictator, calls martial law on the poorest district in the city, and then spends months using carcinogenic gas on vi's own community. vi ends up drafted into a war to fight for a state and a city that hates her, then essentially betraying her own people to stay with cait. happy ending, the end?
the show has no coherent politics because it literally moves its politics around cait/vi, to make them more tragic, or dramatic, or doomed, or whatever. and it would be fine if this didn't set up the actual human cost of police brutality in its very opening scene, but because its writers room were untalented hacks, it literally ended up being fascist copaganda apologia.
Combatting the "illiterate/dumb/insert classist assumption here" headcanons being circulated about Zaunites (particularly Vi) with my own headcanons.
Headcanon that Zaunites are actually super into literature and poetry. Like, culturally. Headcanon that music and poems were there for them when they had nothing else. The bridge song is the only song we hear being canonically sung by a character in the show and it's literally baby Powder (and Vi hums at the end of s2). The only other songs being played in-world are all by Zaunites. Art is a form of expression that they took refuge in as a community.
Headcanon that they generally love storytelling. Regardless of if they do or don't have access to books that are in good and preservable conditions, storytelling (via reading or memorization/orally) is a super important part of their culture. No one population has a 100% literacy rate even IRL, and not being able to read doesn't make anyone stupid anyway. But Zaun has a decently high literacy rate, especially considering their circumstances. They prioritize it because of how fundamentally important art/storytelling is to their culture.
Headcanon that Ekko and his Firelights tell stories to the kids at the base every night before bed. That a lot of these tales are from people he loved, like Benzo or his birth parents, or even Vi, Jinx, Mylo, and Claggor.
Headcanon that Vi in particular loves reading. She's a total bookworm. The few moments where she gets to do things for herself, she chooses to read and collect poetry and literary works. She's only ever kept one classic for herself (sold the others), but the things she keeps, she treasures. Young Vi likes to spin tales for baby Powder. Some are based off of stories she's read/was told by the adults in her life. Others are entirely made up on the spot, for Powder's own enjoyment.
Headcanon that Vi would've maybe wanted to be an author if she wasn't more preoccupied with protecting her family. That she considered pursuing those interests a pipe dream, something for a different version of herself.
Headcanon that Sevika remembers more about her dad's stories than about her dad himself. Headcanon that Renni the chembaron read books with her son whenever they both had a day off from work.
Headcanon that a lot of Zaunites know how to sing. Headcanon that Vi can sing. And that she used to sing lullabies for Powder until Mylo called her a baby for still needing them. And even after Vi punched him for it, Powder insisted she was too big for lullabies- so she and Vi settled on bedtime stories.
Headcanon that Jinx still remembers those stories. That she tells them over and over to herself whenever she can't sleep.
Headcanon that Silco told her stories when she became comfortable enough to tell him about her insomnia as a kid.
Headcanon that he would tell her anything from true stories of his past to things he's read or heard to things improvised on the spot. And they were different from Vi's stories because these usually had some moral/message to them, even the ones that he made up- but she loved them just as much as the aimless, endless tales of wonder and adventure Vi would spin for her.
Headcanon that now, she replays both Vi's and Silco's stories in her head at night. That when Isha came into her care, she shared some of those stories with her, too.
