I haven’t been on this blog in 2-3 weeks and y’all are still followin’ me. I’m astounded and also kinda flattered.
Though I’m afraid to say I have some kinda bad news. I know, I keep saying I’ll never lose muse for Idate. And, really, I haven’t. Idate is my favorite muse I’ve ever had in a long time, to a point I would call him my CHILD. MY CHILLEN. MY TRASH BABY. BUT, I should explain. Slight rant under the cut.
I haven’t been too pleased with the mogeko fandom lately. I know one should say they should avoid the fandom if they want to have a good time, but, really, you can’t avoid it when you’re in the heart of it. Recently, I’ve come to notice I’m actually one of the older members of the rp fandom, and .. honestly it’s beginning to show a little bit. There’s been a lot of immaturity flying around and it’s really hard for me to genuinely enjoy roleplaying on tumblr when I’m surrounded by this kind of mindset. I’m not saying all people younger than me act like this, not at all! I’m just saying I feel.. slightly out of place? I’ll explain later I suppose.
A lot of drama and events have been going on that just make me sort of shake my head and sigh. Lots of opinions and ideas being thrown around that I really do not agree with, too. I won’t point fingers, and I do not really have anyone in mind, so don’t think this is about you. This is just a general conclusion I have come to.
The majority of the mogeko fandom is underage, I have come to notice that. Yet, it’s made me mildly uncomfortable to see how sexually charged it is. (I’m 20, you can see why I would want to stray away from that.) ..But at the same time, it’s hideously hypocritical about things related to that subject.
People send hate for you enjoying Sal as a character. A fictional character who isn’t real. Yet no one bats an eyelash if you enjoy Satanick, Ivlis, Roc, or, fuck, even Idate. People FAWN over these characters on a regular basis. All of those characters are JUST AS bad, if not worse. The cherry picking here is through the roof. It’s a bit ..disheartening.
Anon hate should not be thrown around at all, but if you’re going to discuss why you shouldn’t like ‘x character’ you better damn well dislike ‘y’ and ‘z’ characters too. CIVILLY, MIGHT I ADD.
I just don’t feel safe in this fandom, and I know a lot of people who feel the same. I love the characters, I love the stories I’ve built on skype, but I feel like I’m walking on glass when it comes to tumblr.
I still roleplay on skype avidly, and really, I’m happy to give you my skype name if you would like to talk with me or roleplay with me. But right now, I don’t think the tumblr side of the fandom is right for me. I won’t delete this blog, I love it to death. But right now the community has been incredibly toxic and I just can’t handle that kind of stress.
I hope you all understand. I love you all quite a bit. You’ve been kind and welcoming to me beyond reason, which has given me a good first impression. But there’s been a lot of recent happenings that just.. steer me away.
If I make a new rp blog in the future, I will be sure to link it here incase anyone wishes to follow after me.

It’s obvious he doesn’t want the orca around, judging by the aura and scent of intimidation that wafts off of him like a heavy mist. Idate can only shoot a sly smirk over to the other, a single gloved hand raising in salutations to the other. Unfortunately for Old, Idate was a talkative one.

A chuckle, red hues looking the other over like he’s a fresh cooked meal.
“Not to be incorrigible, but your expression of judgment passes off quite well as the face of a man who is under the influence. I thought perhaps you weren’t smoking tobacco there.”
“Also, it’s rude to stare. Speak with me if you’re going to gawk.”
“Since when have I ever smoked something other than my usual cigarettes? But, pff, sorry. I tend to get lost in my thoughts, usually those thoughts are filled with snark but they are thoughts nonetheless.”
