I have kind of an odd question and I figured this would be the blog to ask

in the new resident evil game, tjey added a lot more Black zombies than they used to have (like, they’re the majority), and I’m not really sure how to feel about it? The protagonists are in a mental hospital/care facility and the zombies are all former patients, and I guess I didn’t really care about the violence until suddenly Leon Kennedy is chainsawing his way through just a bunch of Black people who were pretty obviously victims in this whole thing?? (Bonus points: he’s a cop, and spends a bit reminiscing in the old police station :/)

I keep seeing all these clips of Leon ‘aurafarming’ or whatever and I feel like I’m going insane because no one else has brought up how most of the patients he’s brutally killing are Black??

(and for reference, there’s only two human Black characters, and one of them dies. compared to the one million blonde haired blue eyed protagonists.)

is this a thing? I can’t tell if I’m making a big deal out of it all, or if it’s a very questionable choice from capcom
