Can you explain your au?
HEHEHE YES OF COURSE
Normally my AUs are sparked by a question. How I came up with this one is “What if Lars didn’t revive immediately?”
Steven’s revival powers take a couple of hours instead. When Lars comes back to life, he finds himself inside the Diamond palace, his body being prepared for a dissection.
Yellow and Blue are still pissed about how “Rose” managed to escape from right under their noses again. They figure that because Lars knew Steven, they can use him to get close to the Crystal Gems somehow.
White attempts to mind control Lars, but because he’s human it doesn’t work. He’s still infused with Gem magic though, so White can influence his thoughts and his entire experience is basically just an in-and-out haze.
Lars becomes captain of his own Gem crew. Occasionally they go on missions off Homeworld, one of which causing Lars to lose his left leg in a fire.
Eventually, after a year, Lars is sent alone to Earth, where he takes Steven and the Crystal Gems as prisoners back to Homeworld. After Steven reveals he “is” Pink Diamond, he begins to find ways to help the corrupted Gems and get back to Earth.
THIS IS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE THING IVE EVER CREATED I LOVE MY VILLAIN LARS AU SO MUCH AHHH 🫶🫶
