three weeks ago at my university we went on strike. so far none of our demands (most relating to the assistance needed by low income students) have been met. it's so infuriating how the media portrays us as being lazy, claiming we're avoiding studying because guess what? we do want to study! that's the whole point! we want more dignity for all the students to continue in their studies and we can't end the strike without being sure that there'll be effective changes. it's so tiring....
