venture “mining” fit
…I’m confused.
You use railguns And a MWD And then force yourself into scram range
Or, same point but different phrasing: You fight in scram range And then use a MWD (and rails /o\)
Is it just me or is that extremely inefficient? Hell if you end up against something with a web or afterburner you’re royally screwed 100% of the time.
At first glance it seems inefficient, which it is for solo pvp, however in small-gang fleets this fit is preferred. The main tactic that makes Venture fleets survive is the warp core strength bonus, in which a Venture can warp out if taking too much damage.
Thus, the rails are fit such that the alpha damage is sufficient to take out primaried craft, similar to how many large fleets prefer rail doctrines due to their ability to bypass reps (blap).
MWD is for closing distances.
Scram is there for keeping fast MWD ships rooted. With the small rails, staying at this range while projecting damage isn't too difficult with average skills. And, if someone has to warp off, they can just warp back to fleet at zero, reload mid-warp, and continue blap.
The Venture isn't meant to be a combat ship, however I have seen it fly well. Any combat fit for it will be inefficient, but I must say this is an extremely enjoyable and effective fit.

It's a space penis with its own penis.
I wish people who are just using the Character Creator would stop using the Eve Online tag… We get it. I don’t want to have to go though 20 posts of characters people made for other games to get one post about actual Eve content… The universe of the game is beautiful too and...
So I was just chilling online when…
Are you kidding? What kind of ship does he fly?
I think he flies the Rokh
And the last nebula before I head back to my home some 1500 light years away, the Horsehead Nebula. It’s been a ridiculous 12 or so hours trip out here, hopefully it’ll be just as beautiful on the way back.
Find a black hole yet?
Pretty good view from the dock.
Yo nerd you play ED too? Hit me up I live at Bernard's Star
To resub or not to resub, that is the question. I let it expire recently, with a years worth of training in my queue. I want to try wormholes but I fear I don’t have the isk to do so. I want to live in null but idk with who. I want money but I don’t want to micromanage the market.
I want explosions.
Someone fly with me, I’ll resub then…
The fuck kind of fit is that?
Guys, join my corp. I am insanely bored as the two others are never online and I need help recruiting.
I haven’t changed a bit
I still sit afk docked in amarr all day
This is what I’m paying 15 bucks a month for
Come to Pamah, fly with me I need people for my corp
Long time no post
Why hello to you my 12 followers (3 of which are viral porn blogs) how are you doing? It has been a while since I updated my mediocre tumblr blog.
When last I spoke I was in Providence flying with the Volition Cult. Now don’t get me wrong, it was a lot of fun. The problem with nullsec I’ve noticed is you’re either in a large fleet or you are just another floating corpse. My solo game is very weak and when I do have an advantage it is quickly taken by the enemy’s numbers.
So I left Providence.
I decided to start my own corporation with a buddy of mine. The goal of the corporation is to eventually split into two corps and host epic tournaments inside itself where all taxes earned between the two go to the winning side.
So I’ve moved to an area that I call the Triad. The first corporation I joined based itself out of three systems (two hisec and one lowsec .4). One was very good for production and had a decently stocked market (Pashanai). Another had level 1-4 missions all in one station (Pamah). And the lowsec system is an island only connected with Pamah and Pashanai, so it’s really good for miners and also helps with giving us a corp battleground. It also usually has a wormhole in it to other lowsec which will help with roams (Leran).
Pamah, Pashanai, and Leran are very decent systems to host this corporation (even if they are Amarr). Join me if you like, it may be fun.
It's beautiful
Caldari style heavy industrial hauler, inspired by the universe of EVE Online.
This is one of my creations, hand drawn sketched with a ballpoint pen.
<3 I’d buy it.
Jesus Christ send that in that is badass and we need a cool hauler
