My Marinette/Ladybug Redesign!

This is for my upcoming reboot/rewrite called "Luck and None"

I have a redesign for Adrien, Alya, Nino, Tikki, and Plagg in the works, no guarantee when that'll be posted. As for the rewrite itself, the first draft of episode one is done! Gotta perfect it and tweak some details, and ideally write episode 2 as well and release them together/soon after each other.

A head's up for anyone interested: The fic will be roughly 16+ as it explores a lot of heavy and dark subject matter, some of which reflects modern day, real world issues. The start will be very sad and intense but it gradually gets happier after the mid-point of season one.

A few key things this fic changes (in case it's a deal breaker for you) -Senti-beings do not exist -Completely changing some miraculous abilities -Overhauling the lore and backstory of the Miraculous -The love square will be less of a focus early on -Changing the owner of the Bee Miraculous (sort of...) -Set in 2022/2023 -Mari and her class are aged up to be 16 -Many side characters' personalities are overhauled/heavily altered -Heavy focus on the consequences of akumatizations -Ladybug and Chat Noir are not the first heroes of Paris -The Peacock and Butterfly Miraculous were held by the original hero duo of Paris a few decades ago I am an American who does not speak French trying my best to be as accurate as possible PLEASE tell me if I get something wrong or miss something! Everything in this post is subject to change!

Finally, if anyone has questions/comments about "Luck and None" or my redesigns I am open to answering in my ask box! Just be respectful and reasonable!

While I appreciate when people go out of their way to express trans men and trans women as men and women respectively, it does make me raise a brow when people pretend as if they've lived the life of a cis person. It's perfectly ok to acknowledge that a trans person grew up as a gender that they aren't, in fact it's actually harmful to try and ignore everything a trans person has gone through to get where they are. A trans man had a girlhood, a trans woman had a boyhood, and that deserves to be acknowledged without being treated like shakey ground. The afab and amab experience IS different, just as the trans and cis experience is different. You don't have to pretend like someone's past doesn't exist in order to be supportive, as long as you listen to what the individual's comfortable with, you're being respectful.

BOO MIRACULOUS TUMBLR FANDOM I'M MAKING A REWRITE!!!

Never talked about mlb on here before weirdly, but!!!! I am in the process of writing "Episode" (chapter) One and hopefully it'll come out as good as I'd like it to be.

Here's a few details as a sneak peak: -I'm overhauling the magic system of the miraculous -Redesigning Marinette, Adrien, Alya, and Nino -Completely changing the designs of the Kwami's -Focusing on Adrien's grief and Marinette's loneliness from the start -Rewriting the personality traits of the kwami's and teenagers to feel more real and grounded -Bumping up the ages of the duo's class to be 16 instead of 13 at the start -Implied real world events will have an effect on the characters -Fleshing out the relationships, personalities, and backstories of side characters -Most importantly, this rewrite will treat Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Chat Noir as equally the protagonists

Guys. I just realized something. Episode 5 hurts far more after watching episode 7.

In episode 5 when Pomni asks "Do you have any actual friends?" Ragatha says "Not anymore" This is Jax's reaction, leading Ragatha to panic.

We can guess that she was referring to herself and she realized how it came out sounded like she was talking about something else, and later when we see this:

We all assumed that Jax immediately thought of Ribbit, which he probably did, but...
