What sort of places can I show my film(s)? films festivals, online? Reframe film festival is a human rights and social issues related film festival. They mostly except Documentary films, but seems to also except some experimental fiction.. with a conscience. Who is my audience? For the spaces film I suppose I would like it people almost watched it by accident, I don't have ideas on getting it seen by a lot of people, or by a certain group of people, I would like a diverse range of people to see the film, I don't want the film to be pigeon holed, but would like it if got around.. maybe at a diverse range of film festivals, online as part of a collection onine, in an art exhibition, for rental? I dunno.. So many problems with filming today. Firstly I wanted a light kit and soft box or shim for lighting to the interview and I wanted to stage the scene, using posters and furnishings, but this was IMPOSSIBLE!! why was it so impossible? something so simple? 

AV tech did not give me a light kit because he did not want me using the shim, as it apparently requires a workshop to learn how to work and he doesn't have time (which is quite funny because I have tried SO HARD to make a lighting workshop happen but he made this next to impossible to organise). 

So he gave me this terrible dim soft light filler, which is fine if  you have another decent light source, but it not supposed to be used as a primary light source. Basically it would only work if you put it right up against someones face. 

when I got the the location there was kids running around, and they were cute and funny and charming sweet kids.. but it did make it difficult to get on with stuff when your basically babysitting/entertainment for them. 

Then everyoneat No Borders is just SO relaxed its hardto get anyone to do anything. 

So your basiclaly ignored.

I have thinking of setting up an educational community project. Doing Video Production with adults and/or kids. This could be a good part-time project while I am studying my post-grad. I could transfer the skills I have already learned as well as the ones I learn on my course. It would refine my skills through learning, but also pass on knowledge to the community. This site is a great resource for setting up funding grants, project guidance etc.
