Too much?
I ‘ave no idea, are sings normally bustling for you?
They are, yes. But I've been unwell so its a little hard to socialise.
"I miss out on a lot of stuff that the other students do, it’s not that bad being out of the loop though. I’m Arion." She smiled reaching her hand out to the other girl.
"Viola-- pleasure." Then Vi gently shook the girls hand before pulling it back. "I've just been unwell so I feel like I've missed out."
It depends. How long have you been gone?
Since new years? Give or take a few days where I left my room.
"No, not really, just people hooking up and somehow managing not to get pregnant. No one has died, yet.”
Yet being the word that explains life at university really.
You have.
Fancy filling me in?
"I’m a lucky guy. I really don’t deserve someone as amazing as you."
"You have me regardless, Adam." -- Viola looked to the boy, offering a smile before asking. "Would it be wrong to ask if I could kiss you on he cheek or?"
I can’t really specify if you have or haven’t, probably just the usual though.
Helpful as always, Kaine.
I feel like I've missed a lot.
He looked back at her when he said her name. “Yes?” He answered, looking at her, expecting her to run away, to be uninterested in him instantly. Instead he was surprised by her reaction. He loved how understanding she was, and smile weakly. “That means everything to me Viola Lancaster. Thank you so much.”
"Adam, I wouldn't have stuck around this long waiting for you if I didn't want this.. - so I'm going to stand beside you, and support you with this. And I would never force it all upon you.." Her voice cracked speaking the final few words. "-- And you're my Adam, I'd understand anything."
All black everything.
"Ah-What? I was totally paying attention I promise."
Sure you were.
This lighting makes me look tanned.
He nodded, ready to tell her. He knew he didn’t want to pursue a relationship with Viola if she didn’t know, if he wasn’t totally honest. “the thing I want more than anything in the world is to not get so uncomfortable by touch. It’s a ridiculous thing and something I’m working on but I just can’t help it because well…” he looked at her. “I uhh, when I was 13.” He looked down at his hands. “I was abused.”
Violet wasn't expecting such a sentence to leave Adam's lips-- but it did. Her heart ached instantly for the boy, now understanding why it'd always been so cautious when touching him. She'd never of had thought to think about abuse to be the reason until the truth left his lips. "Adam--" Viola looked to the boy in front of her, and her eyes softened as she did. "I'm here for you.. to treat you like you deserved to be treated. Like the honest and strong man you've been for me, I want to be there for you.. and I'm in this for us. I can promise you, I'd never push your boundaries, or make you feel unsafe."
He sat down on the bench with her, looking at her, trying to find the right words. Several times he opened his mouth, and nothing came out. He only stared at her dumbfounded until he finally asked. “Have you ever wondered why I’m so… weird, about touching I mean. Why it’s taken me three years to finally start holding your hand?”
Viola happily sat next to Adam, crossing one leg over the other as she sat with her body facing the boy next to her. She watched his lips, and focused on how he looked at her-- she gave him a small smile before he finally spoke up. Honestly, the thought had crossed her mind over the past few years, but it wasn't something she felt she right to question. "I've thought about it, though never thought to question it.. I just presumed it was a bad topic and left it." Viola told Adam honestly.
