It was a big risk to do this right here, on this particular evening. But risks had be taken in order to gain what you wanted at any time, at any cost. It was as risky as it was safe at the same time. No one would suspect just her. It could be anyone. So many people running around at this place. So many people could have been going in and out, could have done what she did.
She had gotten an order. It was an easy for her to do it. And she assured her friend that there would be no issues. She would not need assistance. After all, she also had a reputation to uphold. Being the seductress she could be, she had been following the man around all evening. Never, not in her dreams she would consider to sleep with this man. But he should believe that this was exactly what she wanted. His face was familiar. Maybe he would recognize her from somewhere as well --- not that it mattered. What did, was that his eyes were following her as well, now that she had made her feigned attraction known.Several glances were shared, little smirks and winks even on Violet’s face as she kept walking through the crowd, leading boring small talk with people but her goal was elsewhere.
This man was a vampire. A newborn, as far as she has been told. What exactly he did to stay in her interests way did not matter to Violet. She would do it anyway. Soon enough he was caught up in her aura and he started to follow her. Instead of leading him to her own tent, she just led him to a random one that seemed to be empty right now. That way the tracks would not lead to her.
He followed her just as she had expected and she waited for him, only the dim light of the moon shining through the fabric of the tent was providing a source of light to make her shadow visible. His figure entered through the curtains. Whatever he had just said slipped past her. She was faster. Her hands resembling claws with sharp nails like knives as she pushed it forward, straight out aiming for his beating heart. She groaned out low, loving the feeling of killing a creature with her bare hands. The little blood stains on her clothes she would remove before returning back to the party. The last few pumps of the man’s heart before she withdrew her hand again, ripping the entire thing out. Her tongue darted out of her mouth, licking up some of the warm blood that was dripping down the length on her arm.
She was in ecstasy, maybe not reacting too fast to the other visitor in the tent. Out of nowhere he was suddenly here. The same face as the given order came from. But it was not the same man. This was one of the brothers. Violet was caught off guard at first, but she could see how he reached for the gun --- and it was the moment she started to run. The dead man she left behind with his heart, but she rushed out, slipping under the curtains and out of the tent. A roar in her ear was the last thing she heard before she fell to the ground. A sharp pain in her neck, but the scream that should express the pain did not follow.
