Lucky Day Powder
Intent: To cause good luck and high probability of success to follow one for a single day.
Ingredients:
Orange Peel
Cinnamon
Fenugreek
Ginger
Irish Moss
Lemon Peel
Materials:
Mortar & Pestle (or spice grinder)
Funnel
Mesh Strainer
Collection Dish
Container
Note: Powdered versions of most herbs are available online. I recommend Wellcat Herbs and Starwest Botanicals for the best quality products. Also, if you can get your hands on a good spice grinder, you can make your own powder from dried herb products.
Grind each ingredient separately to produce fine powder. Sieve the material through the mesh strainer into the collection dish; this removes the larger unground pieces and gives you cleaner powdered herb. (Pro-Tip: Putting a funnel under the mesh strainer reduces lost material and makes collection much easier.)
Combine the component powders in the collection dish, mix well, and bottle immediately. For volume, go heavier on the less expensive or more easily available materials like Cinnamon, Ginger, and powdered fruit peels. Otherwise, use more or less even amounts.
Put a pinch in your shoes before going out on any day that you need a boost of good fortune, or chance to sway in your favor. Also useful for spellwork related to finding or keeping employment and obtaining wealth. Add to incenses and charms designed to bring luck. Combine in a jar with sesame seeds for long-term household use.

I had a dream where I was in a witch's cottage and in the kitchen she had an iron rack for wooden spoons. Like this but with a pentagram in the center:
And above each hook was a little sign with things like "love", "healing", and "strength". The spoons were enchanted for those purposes and hung on their respective hooks for easy access while cooking.
And I think that's just such a cool idea.... Now to find or make a rack.
I made one! A more modern version that fits our kitchen, but I made a spoon rack. Pics will follow when my kitchen is presentable (shh)
Behold!
I want to add some sigils, but am debating between pyrographing them onto the handle or painting them above the words. And I think I want to pyrograph some pentagrams in the spoon bowls (do you call it that?). So done for now. I love it though ♡
Nobody fucking cares if they're terfs. Shut up about blogs being terfs. Literally shut the fuck up. Nobody fucking cares. I'm so fucking tired of Op iS a TeRf just!!! Shut up!!! We can fucking read!! If we don't want to follow terf blogs we won't and if we want to we will!! Just fucking focus on your devotions and worship, you know, the content we fucking follow you for!! Fuck!!
Hey, fuck you. I’m not a content making machine, I’m a person. Next time you talk to me like that - I’ll block you without responding. Who fucking let you talk to strangers like that? I’m not your best buddy.
If I want to talk about a witchy or pagan blog being a terf - I will. If I want to talk about such a blog being a fash, I will. Witchy and pagan circles are MY circles too. And I don’t fucking like sharing these spaces with fascists.
I’m not your content machine. Go fuck yourself and unfollow me with this attitude. There’s no “we”, you’re the only asshole in the room. Speak for yourself, coward.
🙋🏼♀️ Actually I care if they're terfs.
Lots of my followers care because they kindly let me know if I accidentally reblog a post by one of them.
A lot of people on Tumblr actually take time to curate their space here and reduce the chance of interacting with terfs, tankies, neo-nazis, tradcaths etc. A lot of people don't want their religion to become synonymous with bigotry.
And I'm greatful to Will for letting us know.
Yes, hi, I would also like to know about the TERFs so I can block them.
my absolute favorite flavor of anon is "how DARE you publicly speak on problematic community issues, shut the fuck up and give me your contenttttt do it content machineeeee"
also, shout out to anon saying that they're going to follow terfs if they damn well please. go off, anon. go off.

(For anyone who's curious, here are some updated pics of my personal library! Not all of the titles are appropriate for beginners, as some of them require a certain amount of other research to be understood in context, but they've all served me well. 😊)
Adding to this the list I compiled of articles available on JSTOR that focus on witchcraft, folk magic, superstitions, occultism, folklore, fairy lore, witch trials, and related history.

We need kink at pride because “kink” isn’t just kink. “Kink” is:
That boy wearing jeans that are too tight
Your neighbors and their “friend” that lives with them
Having a beard and wearing a skirt
Wearing any kind of choker
Literally anything else they decide goes against the “norm”, and it can be literally anything. That is why we need kink at pride.
No we don't. Respect ppls boundaries. If respect isn't normal anymore what will be normal then? Anything, no matter how it impacts or scars other peoples lives? Kink doesn't belongs to pride.
Look around you. Do you see where “No Kink At Pride” has led? Being transgender is illegal now. Exactly what people said would happen. You know what’s going to be next? Being gay is going to be illegal. Because being gay is not “respecting straight people’s boundaries”. They don’t want to see you. They want to kill you.
Unfriendly fucking reminder that the reason Republicans are getting so far by criminalizing drag and trans people is because they convinced the general public crossdressing is a sexual act (i.e. kink). Unfriendly fucking reminder that to homophobes, queer people existing is a kink.
We need to stop “respecting boundaries” of people who 9 times out of 10 are homophobes and transphobes who want us dead.

Leave us not forget that KINK WAS THERE WHEN PRIDE BEGAN.
You know who rocked up to the first Pride parades to help protect the marchers? LEATHER DADDIES.
You know who helped organize events and bailed people out of prison when they got hauled away by the cops for being queer in public? THE LOCAL S&M CLUBS.
Y'all, kink doesn't just BELONG at Pride, in all its' fabulous permutations and presentations. Kink is PART of Pride. It's built into the motherfucking DNA of the event.
"Kink doesn't belong at Pride," my assless chaps. You might as well say that Martha P. Johnson (RIP) never wore drag.
Get the puritanical boot out of your fucking mouth and wise up.
