Violetstar bugled in alarm as something shot past her. Then she heard voices. And not the nice kind either.

The purple dragon eyed the ship curiously. Violetstar decided to go ahead and try landing on it. Her claws gripped the cockpit as best as she could, and she peered through the glass.

The ship’s bridge was mounted underneath it as the admiral, a dark grey pegasus stallion, stared back at her with the rest of the bridge crew.

She tilted her head to one side, and gave a little warble. Violetstar tapped on the glass with a forepaw, like one knocks on a door. "Come innnnnn?" she asked in a croaky, raspy voice.

Violetstar tilted her head to one side. It’s okay, little one. She came closer to her, until she could have touched her. The dragon stretched out her neck, and sniffed at her some. Yep. This is the one she’d scented before.

Violetstar sat up on her haunches, tucking her head down to her chest to continue looking at her.

Carina backed up some in fear. Just as angry twittering  came from Skrits Carina’s constant companion. Carina was afraid, but she wasn’t going to turn and run that just lead to trouble whenever she did.

Violetstar reached out with one paw, and placed it gently on the girl's shoulder. She paid little heed to Skrits. The night fury crooned softly, trying to reassure her.
