What made you think Klance were soulmates?
They have that perfect push and pull. Their banter is just as comforting as it is rousing. They keep each other on their toes and they know the other will always have their back. I like to imagine that it’s a difficult journey for them to find each other but worth every second of it.
What’s your favorite soulmate trope?
I love tattoos of first words or symbols, marks that show up on the other’s skin, and shared pain has a special place in my heart because *clenches fish* the hurt/comfort…
Using your favorite soulmate au, how would it show itself on you?
I would definitely write on my arm to my soulmate every other minute just to flirt with them and let them know they’re special :)
How to Draw Native People: a Tutorial/Reference Guide
As requested, here is a basic guide for how to draw Indigenous peoples (mostly focused on North America)! Also please note that this is not an exhaustive list of Native American phenotypes/features, and more like an intro on very common features that can be found in us, and even then, not altogether at once on a single person’s face. I highly encourage the use of references and care taken into research when drawing. I may do a part 2 that goes slightly more into depth, but for now, enjoy part one.
Resouces:
How to draw Native Skin tutorial (don’t draw us red!)
List of Native American Celebrities, which include their tribe(s) and home country, with 1,250 names, to use for your referencing pleasure
How to draw black people by Peachdeluxe, & Black hair in depth by misslaney for mixed black Natives
How to draw Asian People, a guide by Chuwenjie, for mixed Asian Natives AND because it includes a lovely tutorial on monolid eyes, a shared feature of Native people
get drawin!!
by storyboard supervisor Erik Fountain
A few years ago, Erik put together these updated AT storyboard guidelines for new board artists and revisionists.
These are excellent notes for tv boarding.
This really makes me appreciate all the work that tv boarding artists put in to make these awesome shows for us. How amazing.

the lecturer hands us these art blogs every now and then, and they’re really useful. Tangents are pretty easy to fall for, too! which sucks ‘cuz then it’d look weird and you’d have to re-do some stuffs or worse, re-do the composition of the whole image.
the rest & explanations in Chris Schweizer’s blog : http://curiousoldlibrary.blogspot.com.au/2011/10/schweizer-guide-to-spotting-tangents.html
John K’s blog is really good too (the guy who did Ren and Stimpy) : http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com.au/2006/06/animation-school-7-when-generic-is.html
Yes! A friend taught me about these, and once you know them they are easy to spot and improves art by miles!
Tangents! The most uncomfortable enemy of composition in art.
Home: A Domestic Klance Zine
After months and months, we are so happy to announce that Home: A Domestic Klance Zine is finally here!!
I would like to give a huge thank you to ALL the contributors, who worked so hard on this, and a thank you to all our followers who’ve been waiting so patiently. This was a joy to create, and despite all the bumps along the road, I’m so happy to finally share it with you all.
This PDF is interactive, so if you click on a page number in the table of contents, it will take you to that page, and if you click a contributor’s social media handle on the credits page, it will take you to that social media page!
I would also like to invite all our readers to check out our participants, all of whom are so talented. Click those social media links and send some love!!

Both the spread and single-page versions can be found above, though keep in mind the single-page version cuts double-page artwork in half.
Thank you so much for your interest, and for supporting us throughout this process!

JUST SOME THOUGHTS! I don’t really like the “go from the top up” advice on drapery/clothes - if you’re having difficulty try it like this!
YES I see the typo… I’m so sorry folks… I was in a frenzied rush to make this…… and I’m too lazy to fix it……

Beautifuly written- and drawn.
Damn. Really powerful and beautifully drawn.
