But that would be so boring! The best part of it is that you never know what's coming.

Is it wrong that Iâm terrified?
Don't be; you'll be fine. But I'd also avoid the biography section of the library for the next twenty-four hours, just in case.
Trust no one.
It's every man for himself.
Oh, itâs almost April already?Â
âŠI hate April Fools.Â
How can you hate April Fool's? It's so much fun.
Today is the perfect day for chick flicks and cookies.
My apartment has turned into a juice packet warzone.
Care to share?
You drop firecrackers by mistake? Iâve genuinely never been more terrified of a single person.
Actually, thatâs a lie; the elderly in this town are ruthless. But my point still stands.
Oh, please. No one gets hurt.
Tell me about it. You haven't seen them when all the book club copies are checked out; they're ready to swarm with pitchforks.

Violet: If you hear a scream, go about your normal business, nothing to see here.
Max: let's play guess whether vi is killing someone or if someone is killing her
Max: round 24
Ginny: My bets are on the former.
Ginny: What did the gym teacher do to you this time, Vi?
GROUP TEXT: Thing One & Weasley
Max: oi
Max: where the fuck y'all at
Ginny: oi yourself
Ginny: napping. where else?
No, I donât know.
How do fires just happen? Are you some sort of arsonist? Because boy, youâre talking to the wrong man if you are.
They're only little fires. Like end-of-school-year bonfires that sort of overflow, or dropping a firecracker by mistake.Â
I, ahâŠ
Why is your default answer the fire department? Do you set a lot of things on fire?
Of course not!
Well.... not me, personally. Most of the time. It just sort of happens sometimes, y'know?
There was something about warm weather that was irresistible to Isaac.  It had been that way for as long as he could remember.  The warmth from the radiating sun always had a way of beckoning him outside, into the pleasant breeze that smelled distinctively of wildflowers and freshly-mowed grass; a smell he could only associate with Spring.  On that particular delightful day, Isaac could be found under the shade of a large tree, basking in the feelings of new life all around him.  His hands held the cracked spine of a worn paperback, his copy of Murder on the Orient Express.  Thin, nimble fingers flipped the crisp dogeared pages as he read, his thick-rimmed glasses hiding his eyes as they flicked back and forth across the black ink.  A thoughtful expression settled on his face, and he began to unknowingly murmur aloud his thoughts as he read, addressing characters in the book as if they were actually there.  âI donât suppose Iâd like Mr. Ratchettâs face either, Poirot, but you mustnât be so rude.â  He chided, though his commentary was lost on the fictional characters as they continued on the way they always did.
After months and months of cold and darkness, it was finally something verging on warm. Much like the animals that were slowly reemerging from their winter hiding places, something inside Ginny was waking up again. It was perfect walking weather, the kind of day where you left your coat inside just because you could, and basked in the warmth of the sun's rays. She was taking advantage of it; meandering through the park.
She wasn't thinking about much in particular, just how nice out it was, and how much she needed to find a new book to read, and how she really needed to reshelve the biography section because some schoolkids had totally trashed it. But then she saw someone under a large tree, a dark-haired boy Ginny recognized but didn't know particularly well. He was reading Agatha Christie, and excellent choice, and... talking to the book? She bit back a laugh. "I thought I was the only one who did that."
Nothing beats a good cup of hot cocoa.
How about hot cocoa and your best friend?
If God made anything better than sipping a Henny on the beach while on vacation, he kept that shit to himself.
Ugh, now I want to go to the beach.
