I can understand why people like rules and guidelines in roleplay, but I’ve seen some people overdo it to a point where they appear to be unattainable. For example, some people don’t allow you to reply to open starters at all, some people make you ask permission to contact them, ask permission to roleplay with them, post a guideline telling you how to SPEAK to them and what to say, and I think that’s just silly because if they’re going to go through all that trouble to prevent people from annoying them, why do they even roleplay? They might as well just say “Don’t talk to me or come near me unless I personally ask you to roleplay because I’m pretty much equivalent to God and you’re a peasant.”
