The Apothecary Diaries is such a breath of fresh air because this is a story that genuinely seems to love women. From the sex workers of the Verdigris House to the seemingly antagonistic women of the palace (like Suirei and Loulan), the Apothecary Diaries declares that every single one of them deserves grace and dignity even if (or especially if) they come into conflict with its protagonist or societal respectability

a very rare pair to say the least. to me kaveh x alhaitham are basically canon so see this as a scenario thats ' if kaveh somehow isnt married to alhaitham at this point ' & in my eyes theyd be more of a situationship

Ok so heres all ive thought

Their relationship isn't public whatsoever, and nor is it official anyway

I see this hypothetical ship as something that wouldn't be lasting, not only is it long distance ( even if waypoints exist ) they're both quite busy people

Ayato using his riches to spoil kaveh obviously

When they do meet its always under some professional pretense. Kaveh designing something for a festival etc etc. but they always find ways to sneak off when they can

When they talk they catch up a lot about their own lives and such

Ayato I see as someone who wants love but leads too intense a life to really keep it. I think he'd send gifts often like mora or souvenirs just to show he really does care.

Kaveh finds ayato to be a unique individual and appreciates the fact he's a rather calming person. He's probably responsible for their more of their outings because he knows how to enjoy himself a bit more than ayato

I need alhaitham to get in here. But anyway that's most of my ideas on the matter. I'm open to hearing more

♡ likes — using the groups budget to buy accessories, guns, cute things, attention ( wont admit ), the color black

♡ dislikes — being ordered around ( will still listen ), night time, feeling trapped / confined areas

lacey is distant. even with those he likes he may refuse to let it be known directly, but when they arent around he'll speak kindly of them. his love shows by lingering closer. he's difficult to get along with but highly perceptive , his colleagues even consider lacey to be some kind of ' trust detector '.

his backstory is not pretty, so maybe another time ?

🌐 the universe is set in a post apocalyptic world. the leaders are questionable & the economy going into shambles triggered crime to rise. its a dangerous place to live, and many factions are almost necessary to join for safety.

in order of creation, recent to old 2025-2014 basically.

Midnight Requiem — a necromancer obsessively pursuing magic. prideful & mysterious

Glace — a friendly ice skater from the crystal empire, though a little vain about her beauty

Blue moon — a highly devoted royal guard, rather stoic

Ink well — nonchalant writer .

Ready Launch — lively and energetic, he runs fireworks shows

Heart striker — chivalrous and charming, though not very self aware. he considers his true flaw to be ' being too kind '

Swan dance — a dancer, who carries themself with grace. regardless of elegance they're quite sweet

Whirl wind — the mischievous kind, has this sort of tough guy prankster attitude. related to blue moon

Star bright — rather infoless i'll admit but she's very cute

Sprinkle Wink — she's usually annoyed or holding in rage, perhaps she channels that in baking. her bakery is a hotspot for gossip

Tbn — this pony was meant to represent me back then ..meaning I suppose he's trans now. How fun. However I don't really feel keen on the design fitting me so I'll just consider him a normal oc now. He was a little nuisance.
