I was able to get my hands on a few documents regarding the death of your partner Choi Seungwoo. Below you will find his official certificate of death, and an announcement posted on a local funeral establishments website. I wasnโt able to find an official obituary, and I would assume that would be due to the fact that no next of kin claimed his body. He ultimately was given back to the city, and friends gathered and planned a memorial for him.

surface level information: yoo haerin is new to town. only moving here 8 months ago. she was born on june 20, 1997 making her 28 years old. haerin was born with a fatemark, and finds herself hating her parents for passing it on to her. she is unemployed, keeps to herself, and is a major bookworm. haerin tries to avoid social interactions as much as she can, but she frequents a cafe nearby her home to get her daily latte and read a few chapters of whatever book she is currently reading. finding a job is harder than she thought it would be, and finds herself regretting running from her past life....but only sometimes.
why she is here: haerin was born jo areum on september 9, 1997, in a town hours from incheon. she was somehow involved in the death of her partner, choi seungwoo. they had been together for five years, and bonded for two of them. the details of the night of his death are cloudy, but she immediately felt like she was involved as she was with him just hours before his body was found in his apartment. she hired someone to help her form a whole new life. identity, address, and background. every once and a while, her informant will give her details from seungwoo's death investigation. she has a hard time taking in any information when it comes to the one she loved. when she's alone at night, everything comes rushing in at once. their time together, his death, her hands around his throat. . . no..no..that wasn't her...was it? to forget about everything, she finds herself drinking herself to sleep every night.
life as areum: areum was born with the fatemark gene to a couple who were bonded, but hated each other. she was an only child and was mostly raised by her grandmother. the last time she saw either of her parents was when she was a young child. she doesn't remember much about them other than they were always yelling at each other, but refused to part ways. she dreaded the day her fatemark would manifest, fearing she'd end up bonding with someone she couldn't stand. two years after she received her fatemark, she met seungwoo. they didn't hit it off right away, but it wasn't long before they became partners. three years into their relationship, they resonated. they were bonded for two years before his untimely death. areum can't remember much about their relationship these days. she blames it on the trauma of his death, but could it be something deeper that she refuses to see?
