every single time i open any social media app im greeted with people using medical terminology for everyday things, without understanding what they actually mean. and it drives me INSANE 😃 to name a few:

'dissociating' rather than just 'zoning out'

'overstimulated' rather than 'overwhelmed'

'maladaptive daydreaming' rather than just 'daydreaming'

'hyperfixation' rather than 'interest'

it is so DRAINING to see the line slowly blurring between the terms that describe extreme traits and things just everyone deals with on a daily basis. and dont get me STARTED on how watered down OCD and ASD is becoming, like holy shit. anyways rant over. point is - its frustrating and annoying.
