The Electrike yapped, tail wagging as he booped her hand to try and get her to pet him.

Immediately shocked her.

Paio only looked mildly surprised by the shock, though she didn’t actually feel it. What she did notice was that because of the shock, her battery was a little more charged. She smiled the way her creator told her to when something good happened.

“Wʜʏ ɴᴏᴛ﹖ Hᴇ ᴡᴀꜱ ᴊᴜꜱᴛ ᴀꜱꜱɪꜱᴛɪɴɢ ᴍᴇ.“

“Sorry, please give me a moment, they’re usually not like this?”

Lydia quickly ushered the hatchling Pokemon out of the room and away from their guest. The girl seemed nice, albeit a little… robotic? But that was no reason for the babies to have reacted the way they did! They seemed so scared and would leave Lydia’s side. One of them even scratched her when she tried to hand them to the guest!

She shook her head and knelt down to the little group, who all looked to her with apologetic faces, “I’m not mad, you guys, promise. But she’s just another trainer wanting a Pokemon, why are you guys so scared?”

While Lydia tried to calm the Pokemon, a sneaky streak of blue and yellow zipped into the room. The Shiny Electrike had spied the girl from one of the upstairs window, but he hadn’t been picked to come down and meet her because he was prone to get excited and Discharge on others. 

He was working on, promise.

But he couldn’t just stay upstairs! He knew this girl was the one! And he was so eager to meet her, he was already starting to static as he darted into the room.

“Riii?”

“Iᴛ ɪꜱ ɴᴏᴛ ᴀ ᴘʀᴏʙʟᴇᴍ,” This was her first time seeing a pokemon live. Her creator told her she was allowed to get a pokemon, and she immediately came here. Although, she wasn’t sure she would be able to get one because she wasn’t capable of be ‘loving’ apparently. Lydia seemed to have trouble getting one to be given to her. 

She looked at the newcomer blankly. He didn’t seem to want to be far away from her like the others. Her internal Pokedex supplied that it was called Elektrike, and that the coloring was unusual. But the electric typing could come in handy if what her creator said while he was briefing her was true. “ Wʜᴀᴛ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴛʜɪꜱ ᴏɴᴇ﹖”

As for Ditto…let’s just say most of them tend to be fairly obvious about the fact that they’re Ditto, even when they’re transformed.”

“Paio, I have a surprise for you,”Eugene said, sitting at the computer, and typing quickly. “I have to close your program first though.”

The next thing PAIO was aware of was opening her eyes. Did her creator move the monitor? This angle was different.  “Paio, look this way,” Her creator’s voice called out. She was about to inform him that it wouldn’t change her view point, but decided to humor him first. suddenly the angle of the lab changed.

 “Wʜᴀᴛ ɪꜱ ᴛʜɪꜱ﹖“

“I’ve made you a body! It’s....incredibly basic. I based the appearance on your avatar. I want you to test this body out, and report the results every evening,” He explained.

Koga gave the android a curious look. "You seem a bit stiff, are you all,right?" naturally, he wasn't area who or what he was really talking to, mistaking her for a normal woman.
