Yo friends! I’m going to be moving this blog over to oneirxi so that it’s no longer a side blog and I’ll notice the activity easier. Go follow me there and we can keep interacting.~
Please dismiss the Asher as he dies from happiness.
“I will tell everyone your nickname~!”
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ “That is a thING YOU SHOUDN’T DO.”
“GAHHHH, YOU SPEAK LIES! YOU’RE THE ADORABLE NERD~!”
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ “You’re the one blushing, I think I win this one.”
I also just realized there are some more of you, and I’ve run out of ideas for greeters, so like this for a starter!! I’ll think of something creative pff.

⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ “Icky is an adorable dweeb, pass it on.”
They hadn’t been expecting an apology, actually had never even gotten one for anything like what they were now. The words were both well appreciated and somewhat shocking.
“Oh no, don’t worry about it. I uh, I’m just not too used to talking about it, you know? Most people either brush it off or try some stupid shit like a huge and uncomfortable hug while they tell me I’m ‘okay now’. It honestly doesn’t bother me all that much.”
Shifting again they moved to mirror their words with their stance, precise changes to the slouch of their shoulders and how they held their head made to hopefully seem more welcoming.
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ The way the other positioned themselves was actually rather relaxing, seeing such a comfortable stance after the topic that was at hand. His once timid smile finally returned to his lips, his body sitting up a bit straighter than before.
“I d-don’t think anyone’s r-really used to talking t-to it... B-but it’s always better to l-let it out than h-hold it in I guess. I just w-worry about talking about such p-personal things with people because I’ve a-actually driven people away over it... I-I guess some just thought I was too troublesome.”
He let out an awkward laugh, keeping his smile on his face despite the matter. He hated thinking about it, but he usually managed to push past it if he kept a smile on his face despite the fact.
As he spoke it became more and more apparent that they probably had more in common than they might have wished. His own actions to draw arms inward had them doing much the same, a part of them somewhat conscious of all the marks littering their exposed flesh.
“Ah, whenever I get too jittery or can’t trust myself to be alone I usually push myself out into public, it makes me force myself back together when I’m falling apart. Came here once a while back and just kind of wanted a quick bite, remembered this was close.”
They probably would have never just handed out a bit of information like that to a stranger, but he’d already shared something just as private. Allowing a bit of themself to show as well made the conversation feel more balanced to them, kept them comfortable.
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ The brunette’s head lifted slightly when the other started to go on about why they were here. It seemed like they did have a lot more in common, and honestly the other speaking of such a thing made him relax a little. But he also felt a bit bad that he caused to other to admit such a thin.g He cleared his throat and started rubbing his neck awkwardly.
“I’m s-sorry I made you t-talk about something like that... I-I sort of just b-blurted my own experience out... I’m r-really sorry if I brought back bad m-memories for you...”
She actually wasn’t sure exactly WHY she was outside. She truly hated the outdoors. She hunched over a bit, running her fingers nervously through her scruffy hair. It didn’t take her long to bring her hand back out of disgust of feeling the damaged follicles.
“ I honestly…have no clue. I guess I jus’ got that bored-! “
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ The male let out a warm laugh at the other’s response, hands timidly starting to play with his sleeves. He seemed to bounce a little bit as he got an idea, head tilting as his smile brightened.
“Well, since we both have nothing better to do, why don’t we go do something?”
“ Oh my! Thank you. “ She smiled at the boy, taking the sketches and sliding them back into her sketch book. “ Sorry for making you chase after me to give these back. “
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ He gave a small wave of the hand at her words, keeping a soft smile on his lips as the girl thanked and apologized to him.
“It’s really no trouble. Plus, it wouldn’t be very pleasant to lose such amazing drawings! I couldn’t just let you walk off without them.”
Too bad he had to bend down– being a giant man didn’t help much. But he did take his time to scan through the grass first– glancing under benches and furrowing his eyebrows in. It was only in an odd wedge between a bench and a trashcan– that’s where the pendant was, and if it wasn’t for a glint, it would have escaped him.
[兵] — “Found it!” Triumphantly he held up the accessory.
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ Asher’s head snapped towards the direction of the other when he said that he found it. He looked like he was about to jump out of his shoes when he said those words, quickly moving over to him and gently taking the pendant into his hand. He clutched the pendant tightly and smiled up brightly at him.
“Thank you so much!! How can I make it up to you?”
“Hm? O-oh yeah, sure. I actually hate sitting alone in public, too. Makes me nervous.”
Pulling their hand back and adjusting their things the student made ample space for their new companion to sit with them. Their book was tucked away and their own space made clear so they could properly give their attention to him.
“You come here often? I’m more of a family-owned breakfast joint kind of a person, to be honest.”
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ The boy let out a pleased noise when the other actually agreed to letting him sit with them. He shifted carefully to sit down, making sure he didn’t damage any of his belongings in the process. he was honestly really glad that he wasn’t the only one like that, getting anxious alone in public.
“Ah, yeah I come here pretty o-often... I-It’s just about m-my only relaxation p-place I suppose, save f-for outside during dusk hours. When I-I’m alone a lot of t-thoughts tend to flood to my mind, a-and I found this cafe during o-one of the worse times and I’ve been coming h-here since. W-what about you?”
He probably said a bit too much, and he realized that. that realization was displayed in how his arms started to press a bit close to his body, his smile becoming a bit more awkward as he nervously slid his fingers along his cup of coffee.
“ Asher…I like that name! Nice to meet you. I’m Eveona. You can call me Eve if you’d like, though. “
Today was suddenly a good day for her. It had been quite some time since she had managed to find someone new to talk to. She wasn’t too good with her social skills, so she was thankful he spoke to her first. She reached out and firmly shook his hand.
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ “Ah, I’ve always thought the name Eve was such a pretty name.~ You’re the second one I met. You two are complete opposites, from what I’ve seen so far. It’s a pleasure, Eveona.~ So why are you out on this fine day anyway?”
He had an air of exuberance right now, his smile never once fading from his visage. He returned the same firm shake, something he was always taught before withdrawing he hand. God he loved meeting new people.
;–A nod was given at the other’s explanation, understanding the strain that academics could have on a teen’s mind. She’d experienced that long ago, a few centuries or so, having been an angel for quite some time.
“I-I would recommend chamomile tea before bed, it really h-helps with calming the body and mind. Perhaps listen t-to calming melodies–”
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ The male glanced at her when she started to give him some suggestions of how he could deal with it, giving a small frown at the words. He cleared his throat a bit awkwardly, turning his head away.
“I’ve never tried chamomile tea, but the one time I had a sip of tea it tasted very watered down and it wasn’t very pleasant-- As for the calming melodies, I started doing that a few years ago. It sometimes helps but not but much...”
If you ignore me once (just one time), I will automatically assume I annoy you and instantly force myself into “don’t speak unless spoken to” mode.
You have encountered gouxche!!
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ “I think you dropped this.”
The male smiled at the girl as he came up to her, timidly giving her a few sheets of paper that seemed to have fallen out of her book.
“ I-I really needed that today. It’s been on the gloomy side here lately for me. S-So really, thank you! You easily made my day. “
Wow, he sure was nice, wasn’t he? That was a clear indicator that he wasn’t from this place. No one here seemed to have much of anything nice to say.
⊰ ╰☆╮ ⊱ Asher was honestly incredibly pleased when the girl said that it made her day. It always filled him with joy when he heard that his actions made people’s days. And he was also very happy to know that saying he always heard actually was true. Good thing he believed so strongly in it.
“I’m really glad that I made your day! My name is Asher, by the way.”
He extended a frail hand to the girl, keeping his bright smile.
