Placid Armor™ is inspired by the olden gothic types which were designed for headings and titles—normally as stone carving. Placid Armor on the other hand was designed to be used as a display typeface but also for body text and captions. The serifs are less prominent so that when the text is small, the serifs becomes like a stress to end a stroke using a flat nib.
