Studio Still Life with Cactus, 30 April 2016. A photograph I took at a quiet moment during today's open studios
The festivities will kick off with a launch party on Friday, April 29th from 8-11PM at @thejavaproject The Java Project (252 Java St), a gallery and event space that curates experimental exhibitions for Brooklyn-based artists. There will be an outdoor reception, mural painting, installations, live music, dancing, @kettlebrand chips, craft beer by @greenpoint.beer, and Hungarian wine thanks to @palinkerie. RSVP with the Facebook event link in our profile for more details. All are welcome! (at Greenpoint, Brooklyn)
Please come out and support local artists in Greenpoint, Brooklyn! :)
This is just to say that I’ll be participating in Greenpoint Open Studios this year!
Check out my website for more information (directions, time, date, etc)!

Some images from a recent project I worked on with my middle-school students: clay animals. Each animal was made from air dry clay. Students were instructed to begin with a pinch pot form, adding modeled extremities by slipping and scoring. Once dry, the pieces were painted with acrylic paint.
